Families Within the Covenant of the Passover (Exodus 12:21-28) 5/10/2020
May is called Family Month. There is Children’s Day in Korea, and Mother’s Day in America. As the center of families is worshipping online due to COVID-19, may this become a time of stacking important blessings and answers of the family. None of the prayers of believers that pray together while holding onto the covenant will fall to the ground (Matthew 18:18-20, Revelations 8:3-4). May you at least restore three blessings that God gives to families. First, family worship will be an important opportunity to affect the family’s spiritual flow. Second, may the families that have yet to fulfill family evangelism hold onto the covenant of Acts 16:13 and pray. Third, may families be able to draw a picture of how God will use your family while holding onto the word and having a forum. There are many models of a family where they held onto God’s covenant and were preciously used by God (blessing of a covenant family). Abraham's family continued through Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and the blessing of the 12 tribes and became a family that God used. Especially focus on the mothers such as the prostitute Rahab and the foreign woman Ruth in whom works of the royal household of David were made. No matter how weak a person's wife, a person's mother may seem, works in which a family is made into a family of blessings will arise if they truly hold onto the covenant. If so, what covenant should our family hold onto? Let us receive the important answer through the passage concerning the Passover.
- The Passover was an event of blessing given to the Israelites while they lived as slaves in Egypt for 400 years.
It is the mystery of freedom from spiritual curses, family curses, and eternal curses that humans can never come out from by themselves. In the end, all the problems, suffering, and failures that humans face are within these three curses. God has allowed us to come out of this.
1) God told the Israelites to do one thing at that time.
The whole family came together and were banned from leaving the house. Then, they had to kill a lamb and spread the blood all over the entrance door. What does the blood signify? It signifies Christ’s blood of atonement that received all the suffering and curses we would have faced for us. We have been freed with that blood (priest’s authority), triumphed over Satan’s works (king’s authority), and now have become able to enjoy the blessing of God being with us (prophet's authority). It was for the entire family to hold onto the blood covenant and become one (Matthew 16:18-19) "And on this rock, I will build my church." The individual is in that church (individual church), as well as the family (family church).
2) That is why is said to “select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb” (verse 21).
There is a covenantal blessing and answer our families must hold onto and enjoy in this. Make now that opportunity.
- What kind of works will begin when holding onto this covenant of the Passover, the covenant of the blood of Christ?
The three curses mentioned previously will end and the three blessings that God has prepared will begin.
1) The spiritual curses (fundamental curse) that lives possess will end and a spiritual blessing (fundamental blessing) will begin.
① I was unwittingly bound by spiritual problems that set me up for failure. It is a problem that comes regardless of how kindly and zealously one lives (John 10:10). This is called the 12 snares, traps, and frames of Satan. The world calls this fate and destiny.
② Israel believed in God’s promise and spread the lamb’s blood and their 400-year curse (fate, destiny) ended.
Pharaoh who oppressed and afflicted the Israelites actually surrendered. Pharaoh symbolizes Satan.
③ More importantly, once these failures, suffering, fate, and destiny of curses ended, a completely new blessing began.
To what extent? They were told to take their flocks and herd when they left (verse 32). Before they were freed from spiritual problems, the sheep and cows they herded were not theirs. It was because they were slaves. However, once they were freed, all their labor and unfairly stolen things became their possession. It means that God's blessing will commence in the field, meetings, and events that I am in. Health, family, business, and work is included in this as well. Then, new works of Canaan began. These people are called the source of blessings (Genesis 12:2, Ephesians 1:3).
2) The hidden curses of all families and households ended and the blessing of God using those families and households has begun.
① Regardless of what family or household it is, there are surely hidden problems and pains.
God says that He will end that. This is the reason families were told to select a lamb for their own family.
② How important is the family? Families must be at peace, be happy, and each and every family should be spiritually alive.
The family controls everything. Someone said, “a man wanders all around the world to find what he desires and finds it in the house.” That is why someone also said, “a happy family is like heaven enjoyed on earth."
③ What does a family that God blesses look like?
It is a family that has the gospel. They forgive and hide each other’s transgressions and failures and forgives them inside the covenant of the blood of Christ. They help so that they may hold onto Christ and stand up again anytime and believe that failures and pain will become even greater blessings. It is a family that has the covenant. Those families will save people together and hold onto the covenant of world evangelism of saving the world. The family prays for world evangelism. With the offering of one family, possess a faith that is devoted to where you take responsibility of a missionary who can save an entire country, and also hold onto a covenant that is able to receive financial blessings. Make scholarships in each family and raise future missionaries and hold onto a covenant where you go on mission trips together and pray. They become families in which that covenant, and blessing is succeeded to the posterity. Even the family holds onto the covenant of the remnant. Later on, when your children ask you what this ceremony means, you must be able to answer them (verse 26). That is where gospel noble families are made. It is a family where God’s blessings continue and are continuously used by God.
3) Eternal curses ended, and eternal life and blessing have begun.
That is why it said to remember and keep this covenant and blessing of the Passover forever (verse 24).
① The suffering and curses in this world is already difficult, how unfortunate is it if eternal curses continue even after death?
When we lose a family member, we become sad and long for them. However, we have courage and thanksgiving because there is a hope of resurrection and heaven. It means that there are a separate blessing and glory to enjoy there. That is why we are sowing things of heaven on this earth (2 Corinthians 9:6, Galatians 6:7).
② There is another important thing. Evangelism is preparing spiritual families to eternally enjoy in that eternal kingdom.
Paul who had family pains on earth held onto this covenant and walked as an evangelist (Romans 9:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:7-8). Jesus also emphasized this word to the disciples (Matthew 12:50). This is why the church and friendships on this earth are important.
Conclusion – It is family month and Mother's Day Sunday. May all families hold onto the covenant of the Passover and may new blessing that God has prepared begin. All mothers who are inside the gospel, covenant, and prayer are great. May you become blessed mothers.

People Who Are in the Covenant of the Watchmen (Isaiah 62:1-7) 5/3/2020
It is said that there are only three ways to overcome the coronavirus. First, it is the method of protecting myself by social distancing to prevent contact with the virus. This is the most passive method and one that cannot be continued for long. Second, it is to develop a cure so that medication treatment can become possible. Third, it is for me to have an immune system strong enough to fight the virus to where my body produces antibodies. May you really go through renewal for your health during these times (refer to Pastor's Column). For us who have the covenant, there is something above this that is more important. God must hold onto us. It said that although many disasters, diseases, and tribulations come in the end days, God will hold onto those who look upon Him (Revelation 7:3-4, Psalm 91:6-11). It is promised especially in Psalm 91:11 that "He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." The same promise was given in verse 6 of today's passage. "I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night." These angels were used when Peter was imprisoned while sharing the Gospel and even when Paul encountered a storm (Acts 12:7, 27:33).
- What is the reason? Find the absolute covenant in this.
Why are we given this covenant when many people are suffering from personal problems and dying from the virus? Whatever we do in life (studies, business, work, pastoral ministry), we must find the absolute reason inside God's covenant.
1) It is because we know Christ and have been saved by His righteousness and power (Covenant of salvation in Christ).
"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch" (verse 1). The Zion in this is the people who have been saved by God's righteousness and Christ's grace. He says that the stronger the darkness, the light will shine brighter like a blazing torch. We are those who, by His blood, has been freed from all curses, Satan, and authority of hell. Who are angels? They are ministering spirits who were sent to serve the inheritors of God who have been saved (Hebrews 1:14).
2) It is because there is a conclusion God wants to make through us who have been saved (Covenant of the conclusion in Christ).
“The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory” (verse 2). God is saying that He will raise us, who are lacking and failing, as ones who will show evidence and God’s glory to the world. How do these works take place through those whose nation has perished and who have been taken as captives? That is God’s power and conclusion. This is the reason we need to change our pain and problems into evidence. He will raise us as people who will save the world.
3) For this, He has given us an identity that will enjoy God’s blessing (Covenant of the identity in Christ).
① It says, “You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (verse 3). Who can receive the crown of a king? His children. We have the identity of His children (John 1:12, Romans 8:15-17).
② It says, “you will be called Hephzibah (one who is in the Lord’s delight), and Beulah (land of the married)” (verse 4). We are within His absolute love. If there is a reason, it is only that He feels pity (compassion) for us (Romans 9:23). Furthermore, my life has become God’s possession. That is why everything must become a blessing and evidence.
- Now, what must we do?
“And give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth” (verse 7). It means that no matter what the problem is, God will work if we hold onto the covenant and pray. Pray a prayer of preparing three vessels.
1) A prayer of building spiritual strength in order to receive answers where you can save the church (preparation of the vessel of a spiritual summit).
① God has sworn with His right hand, by His mighty arm (verse 8). It means that God will show His power. It says that the enemy will never take the harvests of your labor. Continuously fight a spiritual battle with the power and authority of Christ. At last, you will have victory enter the courts of God’s Sanctuary (God’s church) and drink from the cup of that blessing (drink of celebration) (verse 9).
② This is the blessing the believers who have realized the fact that Jesus is the Christ will enjoy (Matthew 16:16-19).
He said that he will build His church on this rock (blessing of saving the church), gates of hades will not overcome (spiritual victory), and the keys of the kingdom of heaven will be given (fruits of prayer answers). Enjoy this blessing through prayer. Evangelism, revival, finances, and everything will be restored. You end up losing everything if you don't have spiritual strength. May this be a time of enjoying life's greatest deep prayer because of the coronavirus.
2) Pray so that I become a vessel where I inevitably do world evangelism in accordance with God’s conclusion (preparation of the vessel for world evangelism).
① It says to pass through the gates and prepare the way for the people (verse 10).
We must make a vessel that can understand and be considerate to all people in prayer. God will give you that heart. As we participate in online worship, we can understand those who regularly attend worship online, and I believe that the doors to 300 regional churches will open even faster.
② It says to build up the highway and remove the stones. It means to break my old frames (age, experience, race, culture) and prepare a new frame.
It is difficult to break this on my own. The Holy Spirit will change it when you sincerely pray. We need to experience this kind of working of the Holy Spirit. With that, we need to study about multi-cultures, multi-race, and multi-languages. Especially remnants, challenge with a commission to study at least two languages for world evangelism. Korea is being looked differently due to the coronavirus. It will become a large door for missions. China has ¼ of the world’s population. Spanish is spoken in the 33 countries in Central and South America and even in Europe. Southeast Asia and the 55 countries in Africa can be saved with English.
③Then it says to raise a banner for the nations. It means to devote to true missions.
To raise a banner means taking the lead upfront. The person who raises a banner (flag) in the front during a war is in more danger. It is a life-staking true devotion. The word "presbytery" means to "foresee and take the lead." Train to devote like this while you are a remnant.
3) Pray to become a vessel that will devote itself to the Age of the Remnant and Age of RUTC (a vessel that prepares the future).
It says that salvation will come upon the Daughter Zion (restoration of all things lost) and says to proclaim that rewards and recompense accompanies is before him (verse 11).
① The Bible usually calls us who are children of God with the word sons, but here we are called daughters. It is an expression that has a meaning of deeper affectionate love towards the weak people of the Lord, and also includes a pity for the next generation.
② We do not only see our generation. We need to prepare the next generation before we go (son, daughter, grandson, and granddaughter generation).
Although David could not build the temple he desired so much, he made all the preparations so that the next generation could build it (1 Chronicles 29). This week is children’s Sunday. May all parents become the greatest prayer background for the posterity.
Conclusion – God says that He will raise watchmen for us. Our prayers will make works that will make those watchmen work with no rest. May the time that has been bound due to the coronavirus rather become a time of deep prayer to prepare the next 30 years.

People Who Are in the Covenant of Healing (Isaiah 61:1-6) 4/26/2020
People are suffering from at least three problems due to this state of the coronavirus pandemic. First, it is physical suffering. It is already bad enough to have caught a severe cold or flu, but they say that it lasts for at least two to three weeks. People who do not have a strong immune system go to the hospital, but even then, they are left on their own to overcome the illness. Second, there are problems in the heart and mind (thoughts). There is extensive fear, worry, and stress that I may contract the virus. "Social distancing" is used for protecting each other, but if incorrectly used, it could result in broken relationships. There has also been distrust among people and even occurrences of racial hate crimes and violence. There is news that gun sales have gone up as people are concerned about their safety. What answer should a person of God hold onto? Third, there is suffering due to financial problems. The current unemployment rate in the United States is at its worst. They are concerns even about an economic panic. God knows the suffering the human race is facing. The Bible clearly states that the start of all suffering began from man's corruption and greed (James 1:13-15) and that there are spirits of darkness that work behind that (Isaiah 60:2, John 10:10, Revelations 12:17). That is why we need God's answer. May we become those who reconfirm the answer through today's passage and save ourselves in these difficult times and save this suffering world. Doctors are needed because people with illnesses exist, and light is needed because darkness exists. God will use us like this. In this hardship, we must discover the heavenly mandate, calling, and commission regarding healing.
- In the end, it is only God Himself who can fundamentally heal all problems of life.
1) That is why the Bible continuously talks about God’s healing. First, let us look at the representative word in the Old Testament.
As God changed the bitter water that Israel had encountered while passing through the wilderness, He said: "Jehovah Rapha" (Exodus 15:26). When Naaman, the commander of the army of Aram, was suffering from leprosy, God made him obey the words of the prophet and healed him. He simply obeyed the word and God healed him (2 Kings 5:14). When King Hezekiah, a representative king in the Old Testament became ill to the point of death, God heard his tearful prayer and healed him and added 15 years to his life (2 Kings 20:5-6).
2) God who heals anointed His Son with the Holy Spirit and sent Him as Christ. This is the passage.
Christ came to save us. That salvation, in other words, can be called healing and restoration.
① Jesus called the disciples while He was on earth, trained them, and did healing ministry wherever he went. He healed a demon-possessed person in the synagogue (Mark 1:13-26), healed Simon's mother-in-law's fever (Mark 1:29-31), healed leprosy patients (Mark 1:40-45), healed a paralyzed patient (Mark 2:1-5), healed a man with a shriveled hand (Mark 5:38-41), healed a deaf and mute man (Mark 7:31-35), and even healed a blind man (Mark 8:22-26). The Bible could not record all of it.
② This healing ministry became complete as Jesus died on the cross.
That representative covenant is Isaiah 53:5. Jesus took charge of our spirit, heart, and physical diseases on our behalf on the cross.
③ Now, the Lord who has resurrected heals us and tells us to preach this gospel and heal (Mark 16:17-20). Peter’s first ministry was a healing ministry. While he had come to pray, works of healing took place in which a crippled man was healed only with the name of Christ (Mark 16:17-20). It was not healing of a merely physical disability. An entire life changed. There were many works of healing even in Paul's ministry in Acts.
- How does God want us to be used in the healing ministry as we experience this blessing and go forward?
Let us look for this answer from the passage. What kind of problems are there? May you experience the blessing of true healing and enjoy it.
1) The most important thing to hold onto when God heals is the order of healing.
① Spiritual healing. It is correct healing concerning who Christ is and why He personally had to come as the Son of God.
Unbelievers fundamentally need their souls to be healed. If not, other spirits will work in that place. Unwittingly, humans are within a sinful nature (Romans 3:10). That created the curses and death of life (Romans 5:12). Afterward, there was separation from God. It says they have become spiritually dead (Ephesians 2:1), and enemies of God (Ephesians 2:14,16). How did this happen? They were deceived by the devil who is called the old serpent (Genesis 3:5). From then on, the devil acted as a master (John 8:44, Acts10:38). This is the reason why acceptance is important (Revelations 3:20). That is when the works of the Holy Spirit begin and the works of Satan are destroyed.
② It is a healing of the heart and mind (thoughts). Especially those who have already been saved need to open their eyes in this aspect.
Satan continuously touches our hearts and mind and deceives us. That is why is said to not be afraid of those who cannot kill the soul (Matthew 10:28). He touches our hidden scars and plants worry, fear, complaints, resentment, hatred, and anger in our hearts and mind (verse 1). As this is repeated, we become captives and confined. It has settled as bitter roots within me. Healing will take place in my heart and mind if we imprint the gospel (John 19:30, Romans 1:16-17, 2 Corinthians 12:9), put down roots in the covenant (Galatians 3:14, 29), hold onto a conclusion of standing as a witness who saves others like me (Isaiah 6:13, Acts 1:8), and train the life of an evangelist.
③ Afterwards, physical and financial healing will follow.
The body starts to heal when the heart is healed (placebo and nocebo effect). I start to take care of my body since my heart is healed (deep breathing and food). Especially after verse 4, there is a covenant concerning financial healing. You will renew the ruined cities (verse 4), strangers will shepherd your flocks, and foreigners will work your fields and vineyards, and you will live as priests (evangelists) who save people and will feed on the wealth of nations (verse 6). It talks about a blessing where I, the works I do, and my entire life is used as one that saves the world.
2) Then when do we experience the blessing of healing? It is a time schedule of healing.
It is natural to want all problems to be solved and to be healed immediately. Even the disciples of Jesus asked such questions (Acts 1:6). However, if the majority of people are healed of their diseases and their problems are solved like that, they will easily go back to how they were. And problems will repeat itself. God said that He will begin completely new works in me (Isaiah 43: 18-20). That is why give the day and time to the Father and hold onto the covenant of healing within me, and wait until my imprints, roots, and nature are changed. That is the time schedule of concentration. Continuously concentrate on the word and message. Make my scheduled prayer and continuously do prayer concentration and fight a spiritual battle.
3) After my illness is healed, it is God's heavenly mandate, calling, and commission for my life. This is a conclusion of healing.
God’s heavenly mandate is to heal and save the world. He called me for this and permitted my problems for this. That is the calling. He will surely show me the works I can do as much as the things I had endured and faced. That is the commission.
Conclusion – The problems I have is a historical problem that all people are facing. We have been given a covenant and answer of healing. As you hold onto this covenant and answer, may you prepare for another answer and another blessing that God has prepared.

People Who Are in the Covenant of the Remnant (Isaiah 6:8-13) 4/19/2020
Isaiah is the prophet who prayed to God and discovered an important answer during a time when the Israelites were enslaved and suffering. They were looking for times to get better, but God said it would become more desolate. People are interested in when this coronavirus will end. Specialists have said that it may get worse. After the virus, there may be an economic panic. It may become severe for churches as well. This is not pertaining to the church's financial problems. People who are really holding onto the covenant and have faith need to at least worship online and pray during these difficult times. However, there would have been many people who do not know the blessing of worship, and now they have completely stopped worshipping. We need to pray for the posterity. We may have to foresee painful days like the empty European churches. It is a disaster of disasters. At this time, God gave Isaiah who grieved in his heart and prayed. This is the covenant of the remnant.
- What is the covenant of the remnant? Although it may seem like everything is desolate and perishing, there are those whom God has left behind.
Who are they? How should we hold onto the covenant of a “remnant” in this age?
1) They are those who have been chosen by God’s grace. It is a choice (selection) of absolute grace. This is why they were called “holy seed.”
There have been individuals who were chosen like this in every age (Romans 11:5). Likewise, we have been saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). This is the fact we must hold onto even more especially during difficult times. We are those who are within God’s grace.
2) Those who were chosen by God’s grace like that only look upon God when hardships come. It is a blessing of absolute faith.
They were called "remnants" (Isaiah 10:20-21). In difficult times, who do we look upon and what do we look at? If we look upon God, He gives us a different strength, different answer, and blessing that cannot be earned in this world (Isaiah 40:31).
3) How does God use them? They will be used in God’s absolute plan.
Although the nation perished and suffering was in the world, there were works God desired to carry out through them. It says that God will preserve hem (“those who will remain, those who remain”), make them into a light of the world and lead them to the ends of the earth (Isaiah 49:6). Even if disasters come upon the whole world (Matthew 24:6-7), this is what it means when it says that the end will come when the gospel is preached to the ends of the earth (Matthew 24:14).
- There are three absolute things that we must focus on. This is the core of Isaiah and the core of the entire Bible.
Do not struggle and concentrate to solve problems. Give that day and time to the Father and focus on what God desires (24 hours). True happiness, true strength and power, and true answers will continue there.
1) It is a concentration on the gospel. In other words, it is a concentration on Christ.
Everything is bound to this one virus right now. We are seeing the essence of life that is nothing but powerless after Genesis 3. As it was for Israel’s problem, the problems we face cannot be solved by our own strength. God sent Christ (Luke 2:10-11). That is why the most frequent promise in Isaiah is the covenant of this Christ.
① It said that the Son of God will come as a King with the government on his shoulders (Isaiah 9:6). This is the absolute authority we possess.
Israel was bound by the forces of darkness. There were spirits of darkness behind those who trampled and oppressed them. This is a matter that has continued from the beginning of the corruption of Adam in Genesis 3, the Nephilim Age of Genesis 6, and the event of the tower of Babel in Genesis 11. The Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Whether it may be personal problems or worldly problems, this is the reason we must continuously fight spiritually with the authority of Christ who is King (Revelations 17:14, 21:7).
② He has come and says that He will be with us (Isaiah 7:14). This is our absolute background.
The state of Him being with me, ruling over me and guiding me is the Kingdom of God (Luke 17:21). This is the reason we do not have to be afraid of anything (Isaiah 41:10).
③ He has said that He will pour the Holy Spirit onto us and our offsprings (Isaiah 44:3). Blessing of the Holy Spirit, this is the absolute power we will enjoy.
This is the most important prayer topic parents should pray for their children, and a blessing the posterity must really enjoy. Study with this blessing and go to work with this blessing as well. It is a blessing of a spiritual summit that is enjoyed through the filling of the Holy Spirit.
④ In regard to our transgressions and iniquities, He has solved them by receiving suffering (Isaiah 53:5). This is the absolute grace we have received.
Those who accepted Christ once and who are in Christ have been freed from the law of all sin and death (Romans 8:1-2). You may be lured and stumble again along the way. Hold onto Christ again and get up (1 John 1:9).
2) It is a concentration on evangelism. In other words, it is a restoration of all lost things.
① What is evangelism? It is when I, bound by darkness and living in failure and suffering, realize the gospel and arise (Isaiah 60:1-7).
"Arise and shine the light," it means to no longer be deceived by the scars in me, the world, and Satan and arise. The light and glory of the Lord have already risen upon us. The restoration of my identity, this is the start of evangelism.
② What kind of works take place when my identity in the gospel is restored?
Everything becomes evidence. Things beyond those that I had lost and had been deprived of will return to me. Crowds will come to me, posterity that had left me will return, and even the wealth of oceans and riches of the nations will come.
③ Why does He have us face problems? It is so that we may see the world that is suffering through my problem, save people, and stand as one who will save the world.
This was the reason He had David face difficulties (1 Samuel 22:2), why He had Peter to fail (Luke 22:31-32), and the reason why He used Paul who was a persecutor (Romans 1:14, Acts 20:24).
The early church silently evangelized amidst persecution. They were like this pestilence that is silently spreading (Acts 24:5). Do not be cowered. Really evangelize by praying. Do small evangelisms, focus on the few and evangelize (Isaiah 60:22).
3) It is a concentration on missions. This is God’s restoration of the conclusion.
① This is the reason He scattered Israel across the world within suffering. It was a blessing that had been promised from Abraham's time (Genesis 12:1-3).
The Jews knew nothing but themselves under their exclusive elitism. That is why He scatted them into the world. They are the remnants.
② God continuously gives a covenant of the blessing of world evangelization to His people who are in suffering. (Isaiah 55:4, 61:6, 62:10).
This is the reason the hundred-year answer and thousand-year answer is given to the people of God even in famines and disasters.
③ Especially concentrate on works of saving the multi-ethnic and TCKs and raising them as disciples.
For immigrants who have come from various countries, hold onto the covenant to save this America and your own nation and pray. He will show you what to do.
Conclusion – Realize who I am and concentrate on what God desires. The 62 points of the life of an evangelist will come forth. We are people who are in the covenant of the remnant (With). The path we are going on is a remnant journey (Immanuel). All the works and meetings we do will become a blessing of only, uniqueness and recreation (Oneness). May you be victorious in the covenant of the remnant.

People Who Are in the Resurrection Covenant (1 Corinthians15:3-11) 4/12/2020
Today is resurrection Sunday. Even people who usually don’t attend church service go to church for Easter Sunday, but now it has changed. We may have to wait to do communion and baptism ceremonies. Even Jesus was unable to go to the temple after He resurrected. It was because there were many people who persecuted and had unbelief. He went and found his disciples at this time and had them confirm what the blessing of resurrection is. Paul confesses that he also experienced the resurrected Lord in verse 9. The Lord had come to him who was a persecutor. He confesses in verse 9 that this was God’s grace. Because of the grace of God that came to him was he able to live his entire life for the Lord, and even though he may have worked hard, he confesses that it was all God’s grace. Even at this time when we are unable to go to church, the Lord who came and found the disciples will find us and be with us. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the covenant of all covenants that we must hold onto. Why? There are at least three reasons. First, the resurrection becomes the most important evidence that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Romans 1:4). There is no one else that resurrected from death other than Christ. Only the Creator is the One who can resurrect someone from the dead. Second, that is how He becomes the unique Savior who saves us from all the curses and death of our life (Acts 4:12). Third, it is God’s absolute grace to be able to believe in this. This is what was said to Thomas who doubted the resurrection (John 20:29). As promised, He came, died, and resurrected (verse 3). And we believe that He who resurrected is with us through the Holy Spirit as promised (John 14:6). There are at least three eternal blessings the Lord who has resurrected has prepared for us. Hold onto this covenant and really meditate and pray. Although we are unable to come to church, this year will become life’s greatest Easter if we hold onto the three blessings that are within the resurrection.
- There is a covenant of eternal life we need to enjoy within the resurrection of Christ.
1) We can realize what kind of blessing this is during times like this where countless people are dying from this virus.
Verse 19 says that if the only thing we desire is life in this world, we are of all people most to be pitied. The problem of death is something no one can avoid. It says that eternal judgment will follow (Hebrews 9:27). Last week, I met a person who said that he could not believe in eternal life eventually accepted Christ who promised eternal life.
2) This eternal life is not something to enjoy only after death. Enjoy a life of being with Him who is eternal on earth even before passing on that day (John 5:24, John 3:5, Romans 6:4, 1 John 5:11-12).
① God gave us this life from the beginning. God created us in His image and gave us the blessing of one who conquers and rules the world (Genesis 1:16-28). God's absolute plan, absolute love, absolute blessing, and absolute power was within that. The covenant that was given to enjoy this life was the covenant of the tree of life (Genesis 2:9).
② Then why did He give the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? It was a covenant given so that we may not lose hold of the fact that there are corrupted spirits who try to steal this blessing of life (covenant of warning). This was also the reason why He gave us the law (Romans 3:20, 1 Corinthians 10:11).
3) There is a background those who have this eternal life need to enjoy. It is a background of eternal heaven and the heavenly throne (Philippians 3:20). That is why it says to look above no matter what problem comes (Colossians 3:1-3). It is Him who holds onto our life.
- There is a covenant of eternal victory we need to enjoy within the resurrection of Christ.
1) Those who possess this life have no reason to fear whatever works our enemy, the devil, makes.
“For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet” (verse 25). He will fight for us in the last days even when numerous disasters, persecutions, and tribulations may come (Revelations 17:14).
2) Fight a spiritual battle every moment in all problems and enjoy a spiritual victory.
He has finished and prepared everything, but Satan makes me fall into despair, fear, and unbelief and leads me to lose hold of this blessing. To what degree did Paul who held onto the covenant of this victorious Christ of resurrection, declare spiritual victory? "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ,” (verses 55-57).
3) The devil schemed to crucify and kill Jesus on the cross and probably was under the illusion that he would have victory. The death on the cross created the blessing of resurrection. So, do not be afraid of anything. First, declare victory and plant a flag in my heart and field (family, job, before problems of the age). It is Jehovah Nissi. It is not a fight against problems nor a fight against this virus for believers. It is a fight against the spirits of darkness who are behind that. It is an already won battle (1 John 4:4). A day where Satan is crushed underneath our feet will surely come if we hold onto the covenant of absolute victory (Romans 16:20).
- There is a covenant of an eternal new blessing we need to enjoy within the resurrection of Christ.
1) Suffering was only three days. It signifies the time schedule in which God’s plan is fulfilled.
After God’s time schedule passed, Christ resurrected, and everything started anew there. A new beginning opened for life, the world, and the church within Christ’s resurrection. Everything will become new after this virus passes. Unbelievers are looking at a time to advance the fourth industrial revolution age.
2) Are there problems? Do not try to solve the problem but start anew.
It is promised that even if there were shortcomings and failure if we discard former things and start anew today, He will do new works (Isaiah 43:18-19). Hold onto the conclusion of world evangelization in which the purpose of my life is to save the world, my standard of thoughts become gospel-centered (John 19:30), my standard of life becomes covenant-centered (Ephesians 1:3-5) and start anew (Matthew 24:10). At that time, all problems will end and a new blessing will begin.
3) Even the small labor we do while holding onto the gospel, covenant, and conclusion of world evangelization, will be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
It is the small things (Matthew 25:21). It was done for the least of them (Matthew 25:40). We are also the least (Isaiah 60:22). Do small evangelism, you will meet true disciple (Luke15:1-32). We are in Christ and our smallest things will become a hundred-year answer, a thousand-year answer, and an eternal answer.
Conclusion – It may feel like the most difficult times. It is not. It says that greater tribulations will come to us who believe (Matthew 24:9). However, we have an eternal covenant. It is a covenant of eternal life, a covenant of victory, and a covenant of an eternal new blessing. We are living as an evangelist and witness with holding this covenant. It was confirmed that this covenant will surely be fulfilled as Christ resurrected. Hold onto the covenant of resurrection and may this become times of preparing the greatest answers and blessing of life. May it be the greatest Easter for each individual and family.

People Who are in the Covenant of Canaan (Genesis 26:1-5) 4/05/2020
Last week was about "people who are in the covenant of the ark," and this week is about "people who are in the covenant of Canaan." What do these people have in common? They were people who were in disasters in the world and facing hardships. They were those who held onto God's absolute covenant within that and enjoyed absolute answers and blessings. According to the passage, there was a great famine during the age Isaac lived in. People suffer with food during a famine. Another serious problem now is the economic problem of food shortages. It is even more severe in third world country mission fields. Although developed countries provide aid, how much does it actually help? We need to prepare for this as well. What kind of preparation must we do? God gave Isaac one answer. It was to hold onto the covenant of Canaan, to stay in Canaan, and stand before God.
- What is the Covenant of Canaan? Why couldn’t they leave Canaan?
It was because of the fundamental blessing and eternal blessing that the people of God must enjoy was there. Enjoy this blessing before enjoying any other blessing. Then other things will follow. God's absolute plan was there.
1) What is God’s absolute plan? Christ who will save all lives needed to come in this land of Canaan (v.2).
This is what "live in the land where I tell you to live," meant. Christ is God's method to solve all the problems of life. Christ fulfilled and finished everything on the cross (John 19:30). Enjoy the blessing of Christ in all problems.
① There is surely deliverance from all curses through Christ’s blood of the cross (John 5:24, Colossians 1:13-14, Romans 8:1-2). That is why for those who hold onto this blood covenant, all problems should change into blessings. Possess this faith.
② Christ crushed the head of Satan who works behind all problems and suffering through His resurrection (Genesis 3:15, 1 Corinthians 15:25). Pray for all forces of darkness working behind problems to crumble while spiritually fighting against unbelief. Victory will proudly be shown before Satan.
③ Christ is within me and is with me, protects me, and guides me every moment through the Holy Spirit, John 14:16-18). Verse 3 from the passage also states. “stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you.” Isaac held onto the covenant of Christ who was to come and had absolute faith during the most difficult times.
2) Why must we hold onto the covenant of Canaan, the covenant of Christ, with absolute faith?
① It is because the covenant of Christ comes from God’s absolute love and absolute grace for us.
There were no other conditions when this covenant was given. We are told to just believe because it is a gift that is given without any conditions (Ephesians 2:8-9). Why did He just give it to us? It is God’s absolute love. He created us in His image from the beginning and loved us to the end. This is the fundamentals of the gospel (John 13:1, 1John 4:10). There is a separate answer we will receive as long as we hold onto this covenant.
② There are people who ask why such God would judge people and the world.
God does not want to judge the world which is why He gives warning within problems and disasters (Lamentations 3:33). Quickly realize and return. He waits and waits. People do not realize this and follow things of the flesh and the world. That is God’s pain (John 3:16). We need to know this heart of God in order to be able to evangelize.
③ Some people ask why problems aren’t solved faster. It is so that they may receive an eternal answer.
Hold onto God’s absolute love, absolute grace, and absolute plan for me. Problems will end there as well. That is the time schedule. At that time, Satan who worked behind that will give up the evil work and leave.
- What is the covenant of Canaan? He will give us evidence to save the world in a place full of problems (verse 3).
The answer we will receive will not only just solve problems. Enjoy answers where problems become evidence and to the point where it saves the world.
1) Hold onto your most difficult times as an opportunity to receive God’s absolute evidence. All things will change into evidence.
How much evidence did God give Isaac when he held onto this covenant and stayed in Canaan?
① He planted crops of faith in that year and reaped a hundred-fold (answers of a hundred years) (verse 12). He really looked onto God. The Lord blessed him upon his faith. Truly experience this in your entire life.
② He yielded everything when he was envied by others. God provided him a well of freshwater (verse 19). Enjoy the source of blessings. It may seem like you are at loss or being mocked. God will fill you with eternal things.
③ Arguments arose but he yielded again. Isaac was a yielding person. It was possible because he was looking at something much greater. God gave him the blessing of Rehoboth of widening borders (verse 22). This is the blessing of evangelism and missions (Acts 11:19-21).
④ What is the blessing of the last conclusion? It is the blessing of the enemy acknowledging Isaac and giving up (Romans 16:20). God will bless us before Satan’s face and reveal your evidence to the whole world.
2) It is God’s strength that we need for this.
You will be afraid and shaken when problems and hardships come if you do not have strength. Make time to enjoy five deep things.
① Deep prayer of looking onto only Christ. He will let us enjoy the deep things of God. This is spirituality (1 Corinthians 2:10).
② Deep meditation done with thanksgiving. Topics to be thankful will surely come forth. Intellect to control the heart and mind will come forth (Philippians 4:6-7). Transcendental meditation is simply emptying the heart (Matthew 12:44-45). Mediation is holding onto God’s word and applying it (Psalms 1:1-3).
③ Deep breaths and deep foods. Health to overcome all weaknesses and illnesses will be given (1 Corinthians 10:31).
④ Deep devotion. The Early Church gave everything and helped each other in persecution and poverty (Acts 2:44-45). There were no human calculations. It is the financial power of enjoying an answer of a hundred years like Isaac.
⑤ Deep meetings. Help one another in difficulties and grow deeper as you share with each other (1 Samuels 22:1-2). That is where manpower (interpersonal power) is made.
- What is the covenant of Canaan? It is a blessing to leave behind for the posterity and future (verse 3-4).
1) Children will see and learn how we stand before problems and triumph over them.
This is what Abraham did really well. Isaac saw how he chose the covenant and faith before decisive times. His son had seen how God had prepared everything when Abraham absolutely obeyed and was about to sacrifice his son at Mount Moriah (Genesis 22). This is where Isaac's faith of absolute obedience and not losing hold of the covenant of Canaan even during a famine came from.
2) Three verses God emphasized as he blessed Isaac is important.
“I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father” (Genesis 26:3), “because Abraham obeyed my voice” (Genesis 26:5), “for your servant, Abraham.”(Genesis 16:24)
May all 1st generations and parents hold onto this covenant and prepare a blessing of a true future.
Conclusion – Do not be afraid of any problem that comes with this virus. May you hold onto the covenant of Canaan and enjoy evidence.

People Who Are in the Covenant of the Ark (Genesis 6:13-22) 3/29/2020
Matthew 24 is a representative chapter in the Bible that shows us firsthand what kinds of incidents will take place before Jesus comes as the Lord of judgment. This is a warning for people who refuse God's gospel of salvation and go against Him, and to those who continuously fall into individual, physical and worldly things. There is a need to bring attention to Matthew 24:6-14. First, it says that war caused by man's greed will continue (verse 6). Then, disasters caused by famines, disasters caused by pestilence (KJV Bible), and earthquake disasters will come (verse 7). However, it says this is only the beginning. Seizing this time, false prophets will arise and deceive people (verse 11). In that, there are two types of messages given to believers. First, those who endure to the end will be saved (verse 13). It is not simply bearing and waiting. It symbolizes those who looked to the Lord with faith to the end and who enjoyed a spiritual victory. This is the covenant given to those who are saved. Second, it said that the end will come after this gospel is preached to all nations(verse14). This is the covenant given to evangelists. There is still hope in the world because of people who evangelize with the gospel. The passage talks about the covenant of the ark that God had given during the flood, which was the first judgment of the world. Matthew 24:37-39 states that when the Lord returns, it will be like the days of Noah. Even as people will perish due to the flood, it says that they will not understand. It is the same now. People are simply trying hard to escape from disasters but refuse to listen to God's message. People of God should not live at this level. Discover God's answer. Why did God ask to build an ark in Noah’s age? As they built the ark and went inside, all the answers were in there. Everyone's house has become the safest ark right now due to the coronavirus. If three facts are evident, then wherever you are will be the spiritual ark, and what you must do will be revealed even at home (Upper Room).
- Hold onto the covenant of Christ who is our eternal Savior(Verse14).
"Salvation" does not simply mean going to heaven after death. It means that He will deliver us, lead us to victory, and allow us to receive evidence in all the problems we face.
1) Colossians 1:13-24 explains this salvation the best. What works did Christ do and save us?
① He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness that is behind all problems (verse 13). These problems do not just come. Look at it spiritually. There is a being that bounds me to fate unbeknownst to myself and continuously leads me into failure. This is the work He has done as the king.
② He has brought us into the kingdom of the Son (verse 13b). He came as the prophet and opened the way to meet God.
③ We have received redemption, the forgiveness of sins (verse 14). He has received all judgment of sin and curses for us on the cross. That is how all curses ended. This is what He has done as He came as the priest.
2) How Christ is the perfect Savior will be explained while explaining how to build the ark.
① It says to build the ark with gopher wood. What is the characteristic of this wood? It is a wood that will not change, get destroyed or become distorted even if it bumps into places during the flood. What spiritual meaning does it have? It is the eternity of our Savior Christ.
② It says to make rooms with wood and to coat it with pitch inside and out. Today, the pitch is coal tar that is made to use asphalt. No water of judgment can seep in. What spiritual meaning does it have? It is the wholeness (perfection) of Christ.
③ It says to build a window on top. It was so that they would only look up no matter what kind of flood of judgment may come. It is Christ's uniqueness. Who is up above? It is Christ who is seated at the right hand of God in Colossians 3:1. If we truly look to Christ wherever we are, everything will become evidence of uniqueness and recreation.
- Make this covenant of the ark into my covenant(Verse 18).
Then, God’s absolute plan will be seen when seeing problems, incidents, and people. There is no reason to waver.
1) Focus in the place I am to the point where the gospel and the covenant of the ark changes my thoughts and standards (imprint).
No matter what others say, I have become a person who will receive the blessings of heaven in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). This is God’s absolute plan. I was chosen for this and was made into one who has God’s righteousness in Christ (Ephesians 1:4). This is God’s absolute grace. For this, I was made into a child of God in Christ (Ephesians 1:5). This is God’s absolute identity. As soon as I hear this word of the gospel and receive salvation, I am sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). This is God's absolute protection. We are people who will surely have victory with the name of Christ, stand as witnesses and save the world. This is God's absolute blessing. For the covenant of Christ to be continuously imprinted, listen to the word and meditate.
2) Pray to the point where this gospel, the covenant of the ark, heals my deepest place (hidden scars, bitter roots-Root).
There is no need to pray for problems to be solved and for blessings to come. Those will rightfully come when these bitter roots and hidden scars are healed. Every day at noon, read the covenant prayer and pray so that the covenant becomes mine and for my bitter roots to be healed.
3) Correctly confess a confession of faith to the point where this gospel, the covenant of the ark, controls my life (Nature).
Most people blurt out words (words of worry, negative words, words of unbelief, words of judgment and criticism). It was by God’s grace that Noah was able to build an ark his whole life without saying a word of unbelief even as he was being mocked and criticized (1 Peter 3:10, Psalms 19:14). May our words be words that save ourselves, people, the church and the world.
- While building this ark, think about God’s absolute conclusion which is evangelism.
Noah in 2 Peter 2:5 is expressed as an "evangelist" who delivered God’s absolute conclusion. Hold onto God's absolute conclusion when problems and crises come. He will use you as a witness and evangelist (Acts 1:8).
1) Noah gave a message and opportunity to all people while building the ark.
There would have been people who refused and mocked him. It did not matter. Our work is done when we share the gospel. Salvation is God's absolute plan and God's time schedule. We are only acting as messengers (doable online). We need to give courage and hope with the gospel all the more during these times, and it is the greatest opportunity to explain what the true way of salvation is.
2) The fruit of Noah’s evangelism was his family (wife, sons, daughters in law).
This is what must really be done at home. Make it into an opportunity for the whole family to become one in God’s grace.
Conclusion – We are those who are inside the covenant of the ark. May the Lord bless your home as the today’s spiritual Ark. May the time at home become a different time of answers.

Paul’s Discipleship Training (2 Timothy 2:1-7) 03/22/2020
It is said that the spread of the coronavirus will be at its climax this week. Whether it was because the focus was on the thousands of deaths from the flu, or if it was because of the thought that America would be exempt and okay, but it is too late to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Now, individuals need to take care of themselves and stay at home to refrain from further affecting the public.
However, as said during the Wednesday service, our church members need to make this time of disasters as a time of four opportunities. (opportunity to create a deep time with God, opportunity to achieve maturity in faith, evangelism opportunity, opportunity to make true oneness). There is something God truly desires from us in these times. It is for me to stand as a true disciple in these times of tribulations, and to make it into an opportunity to raise true disciples. Continuing from last week, this is the message that will be shared from today’s passage. Paul wrote the last bit of his life in 2 Timothy as he was in prison. When 2 Timothy was written, the early church members were being severely persecuted under the Roman Emperor. The colosseums that are in each region in Italy were all locations where early church members were killed. The Bible states that the disasters of the last days are God’s warning, and these disasters now bring those thoughts to mind. If we do not share the correct gospel, we cannot stop the disasters of the world.
The people who risked their life and shared the gospel during those times are called the disciples. The Bible talks about numerous tribulations, but America has yet to experience such tribulation. May this become an opportunity to hold onto God’s absolute covenant, to pray, and to be raised as a true disciple in this difficult time of tribulation. How did Paul train Timothy, whom he loved, as a true disciple of Christ?
- It is training to become stronger within the grace of Christ (verse 1).
1) Church members were endlessly persecuted and faced with tribulations in the church history of the past. It is the same even now.
Do not merely wait for the problem to pass by quickly. Problems (personal, family, age) will continue, nor will these viruses end here. If you make a great effort to find ways to survive alone, you will become an incredibly selfish person. The four different types of people from La Peste (The Plague) by Albert Camus eventually come together and overcome the pest, however, that is not the answer either.
2) There is a need for the government and the medical community to prepare differently in itself. Then what should we, as church members, do?
Verse 1 says to train to "be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" when all tribulations and sufferings come. What is most dreadful when problems of any sort come? The psychological and spiritual aspect is more terrifying than that of the physical. There will be fear and anxiety. It is a psychological panic. The spirit of darkness destroys the faith of the believer at that time.
① When the flood of judgment was to come in the world, what was most important to Noah who was preparing the ark?
Genesis 6:8 states, “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”
② What is the beginning of grace that Paul states in the passage?
This is the mystery of salvation that saved us from all curses, the curses of sin, curses of Satan and from eternal curses that started from Genesis 3. It is a blessing of grace that was allowed through Christ who loved us unconditionally, died for us, and through His resurrection (Ephesians 2:8-9). Do all prayer, devotion, labor and all through this grace. Even our small things will become a masterpiece. We should be able to confess like Paul at the end (1 Corinthians 15:10). May it become an opportunity to be in the depth and height of this grace.
③ What is the conclusion of those who enjoy this grace?
This is the mystery of the church members who were victorious by faith and who stood as true people of God amidst the continuous tribulations in Revelations (Revelations 21:7). He has sealed us, who were saved by the grace of the cross of Christ, with the Holy Spirit (Revelations 7:4), holds onto us (9:4), and will give us victory to the end (Revelations 17:14). What is the Apostle John’s last confession as he saw the victorious church members? “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” Train to enjoy this grace every moment and in every problem.
- Raise witnesses who enjoy this grace and raise other disciples (verse 2).
1) In times like this when we are unable to gather in the church, the early church had a true upper room (darakbang).
Sharing simple information is not important. Look for the important people at this time. Look for people who are quietly having a hard time. The most important work is to find disciples and communicate at this time. Do the ministry that could not be done when life was too busy and hectic. Make three masterpieces a day. In hard times like this, even small interests will come strongly. You can call or video call. Doctor Luke was a personal doctor for evangelist Paul until the end (2 Timothy 4:11), and even wrote a letter for Theophilus whom he could not meet. That letter is the book of Luke and Acts.
2) Focus on one person and do 24 hours.
The passage of Timothy is a letter with messages of encouragement as Paul focused on one person, Timothy. Disciples are not about numbers. It is about a few, concentration, and continuation.
- There are three contents and missions that disciples must hold onto in order to stand as true disciples.
1) Train in all sufferings as determined solders (verse 3).
Soldiers train to overcome all problems to protect themselves and others no matter what kind of problems come.
Do the spiritual warfare. All power of darkness must be crumble down.
It says that no soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs. Why? It says that it is to please his commanding officer.
They are called faithful people. The Bible talks about three different types of faithful people. A person who is faithful with a few things (Matthew 25:21), a person who is faithful with what has been entrusted to them (1 Corinthians 4:2), a person who is faithful to the point of death in tribulations (Revelations 2:10).
2) Train to compete according to the rules (verse 4).
It is not about merely competing hard, nor can it be done by using humanism to go ahead. What does this mean? Put down my efforts, my standards, my level and follow the Word which is God’s rules. That is why athletes should not look or listen to other things when competing. They must only concentrate. In this time, really train to live a life of concentration (refer to the Covenant Prayer concerning the 62 points of the life of an evangelist and the Covenant Prayer for the entire church).
3) Train like a farmer who prepares today for the future (verse 6).
When hardships come, do not look at the hardship itself. It will eventually pass. In problems, look at what kind of attitude I had in the past and picture what kind of place of blessings I will be standing in. You fall into despair and are deceived by the devil because you solely look at the present and the immediate problem itself. Hold onto the future covenant in problems and prepare as you look to the blessings and glory of the future.
Conclusion – We are not simply in a disaster. It is tribulation. It is the greatest discipleship training. May you stand as true disciples.
Paul’s Discipleship Training (2 Timothy 2:1-7) 03/22/2020 March 22, 2020
The Answers of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd RUTC: Jesus’ Discipleship Training (Mark 3:13-15) 03/15/2020
The world is frozen with fear of this virus. How "humans can be this weak" is once again a bit confirmed. While sincerely praying for the people who are suffering across the world, there are at least three messages of God to hold onto within the Word. These calamities and sufferings are already predicted in the Bible. Events, where mankind will suffer due to diseases, are especially predicted, and it has actually been happening (Pest of 1447, the Spanish Flu that followed WW1 and etc.). First, it is a rightful result due to the greed of humans. That is why it is said that all creations wait for the time of salvation (Romans 8:21-22). Second, it is a necessary (inevitable) time schedule that notifies the fact that day the Lord will return is near. It says that Satan knows that his time is short and will bring all calamities and suffering into this world (Revelations 12:12). However, the conclusion of Revelations is that the people of God will keep their faith, be victorious and greet the Lord (Revelations 22:20-21). Third, there is something absolute that God desires in the last days (Matthew 24:14). It is to find those who were predestined to be saved within that and to heal, save and raise them as disciples who will share the gospel. This is the message of the past four weeks.
- Do not be afraid, and take care of your health as the specialist has said and firmly hold onto God’s absolute covenant.
1) If we are truly people of God who have been saved, the Holy Spirit will hold onto us.
Revelations promised that the forces of all disasters and curses will be unable to harm those who have been sealed by the Holy Spirit. It says that those who have been saved in the Old and New Testament are within the 144,000 (Revelations 7:4, 9:4, 14:1-3). It is tremendous that I have accepted Christ and have been saved. They are ones who have been marked by the Holy Spirit with a seal (Ephesians 1:13). If we truly look onto Him, it says that He will save us from all of Satan’s snares and evil pestilence (Psalms 91:3,11).
2) God continuously tells us to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that the Holy Spirit may guard and guide me and be at work.
This is the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25. It is a parable that was given after talking about all the signs of the end times in Matthew 24. What is the core? It tells us to prepare the oil and to be awake (verse 13). There is an actual image of believers who are victorious in all of the calamities, hardships and suffering clothed in white celebrating with the Lord who is the Lamb in Revelations 19. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we can take care of ourselves, are guided to know what or what not to say, and above all else, we receive the faith and strength to overcome everything.
3) If we truly are evangelists who will save, heal and bless the world in this end times, the Lord said that He will hold onto us.
Mark 16:15-20 said that no poison will be of harm. This is the covenant given to evangelists. Revelations 12:17 said that Satan tried to harm "the rest of the woman's offspring," the people of God, but he could not defeat "those who hold fast their testimony about Jesus." What is the "testimony about Jesus?" It signifies the persecutions and difficulties faced while spreading the gospel (Galatians 6:17). Are there really any loss, persecutions, and false accusations while sharing the gospel? This is what needs to be prepared while being awake and praying in this time of difficulty. It does not matter even if illness may come. There will be a victory. May you be prepared as true evangelists and true disciples.
- The passage talks about what the Lord will train in the disciples who will save and heal the world and be victorious.
We are chosen people of this age. May you hold onto three covenants and may it become a blessing you experience and enjoy.
1) The first blessing a disciple should enjoy is that He is with me (verse 14).
① He has solved sin, curses, Satan’s curses and the curse of hell with the authority of Christ and through His death on the cross and now is with me.
That is why He said, “It is fulfilled,” “It is finished” on the cross (John 19:30). Problems, suffering, and calamities will continue. However, enjoy Christ being with me in every moment and restore this faith.
② As He resurrected, He is with me with His life, power, and authority.
I am living with a different life. Now we live with a heavenly DNA (“Holy Seed” of Isaiah 6:13).
③ As he ascended, He is with me through the Holy Spirit.
To be sealed with the Holy Spirit signifies Him being with us. He is with me as a “Counselor” who comforts, protects, teaches and guides me (John 14:16-18). Remnants and all people of God enjoy this blessing (like David’s confession in Psalms 23).
2) The second blessing a disciple should enjoy is the blessing of evangelism (verse 14b)
It is a blessing that rightfully follows when we enjoy Christ, who is the answer to all problems, being with me.
① God has to make everything into evidence when we truly live centered on evangelism that saves people and the world (Acts 1:8).
My pain and suffering will also become evidence. With that evidence, testify and save other people like me. Engage in your academics, job, and business with a center of evangelism and mission to save people. Everything will be given (Matthew 6:33).
② We will experience the blessing of meeting people who have been specifically prepared when we live centered on this.
The Holy Spirit allows the meeting (Acts 8:26, 29, 39). There will be an experience of the Holy Spirit opening that heart (Acts 16:14). Make a list of people encountered like this and start by praying (individual Upper Room, work to be done in regional churches).
③ Since how or when the meeting will happen is unknown, I must be prepared.
I must be able to give an accurate way and answer. Continuously practice the "way of salvation" alone. It is especially mandatory to carry around evangelism materials. Verses written in small slips of paper alone can change a life.
3) The third blessing a disciple should enjoy is the blessing of spiritual victory (verse 15).
① A disciple should be able to accurately see what the works of the devil are than anyone else (John 3:8).
He is a thief that brings suffering and failure to all lives (John 10:10). That is why incomprehensible problems come even if you live a good and zealous life. He also leads to the way of corruption (Ephesians 2:2-3). He holds the rulers and authorities of the world and lead them into suffering (Ephesians 6:12) and moves powerful nations and creates various problems and suffering (Revelations 18:1-3).
② There could be even just one who comes to Christ among them, but he blocks them from realizing Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4).
He hinders them from listening to the word. He hardens hearts. He creates busyness and confusion. This is the absolute reason why evangelists must enjoy the power of crumbling darkness when saving and helping someone (Luke 10:19).
③ There is something more important. There are works to persecute and interrupt evangelists and to lead them to give up.
The disciples were deceived by this devil and committed betrayal and even ran away (John 13:27, Luke 22:31-32). That is why evangelists themselves must wear full armor, receive strength in prayer, fight and be victorious (Ephesians 6:13).
Conclusion – We are the remaining ones and disciples of the end times. May you save yourself and stand as disciples who are trained to save the world.

Witness Who saves Me and the Powerful Nation (Acts 1:6-8) 03/08/2020
This is the fourth covenant the Lord gave before His ascension. It is the covenant He gave as a reply to the disciples who had asked about restoring Israel and its independence. Korean and all other countries face difficulties, but none were like Israel. The Lord replied that the time and date is up to the Father and that there is something the disciples must restore.
It was for them to hold onto the blessing of standing as disciples from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. The start is Jerusalem. It does not merely signify the Jewish land. It signifies my very self who has been saved. God is saying that He will save me to save the world. Because I do not have the strength and am dying, everything else is dying as well. If I live, then starting from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth will be saved. Then what does the end of the earth signify here? We can consider at least three ends of the earth. First, it is the ends of the earth in distance. That is why Apostle Paul said, “I will go to Spain,” as he passed through Rome (Romans 15:28). Second, it is the ends of the earth with societal meaning. It is describing the region with severe difficulties and its environment. Within the phrase 'the ends of the earth,' there is a meaning of despair. Third, it is the ends of the earth with historical meaning. This end of the earth signifies a land no one can go. It is describing a powerful nation. Rome was a land that not anyone could go even in the times of Jesus. What about the United States of this age? We are now residing in a land that not anyone can come into.
- How did we come to this land and why are we here? Hold onto God’s absolute covenant in this. Four things must be clear.
1) God has created me and has chosen me (Isaiah 43:1). My life is within God’s absolute sovereignty.
2) God has saved me and has made me a Child of God (Ephesians 1:3-5).
My life is within God’s absolute salvation.
3) God has allowed me to live here and He is with me to the ends of the earth (Psalms 16:5-6, Matthew 28:18-20). My life is within God’s absolute plan. We did not just come here, and it is not a life that we just live.
4) God will lead us to victory and raise us as witnesses and send us to the ends of the earth (passage Acts 1:8). My life is one that will be used in God’s absolute blessing. Many difficulties may be faced. One may wonder why I came to this land and am suffering so much. Hold onto God’s absolute covenant in this one life God has permitted and in everything God has allowed.
- Especially, hold onto God’s absolute plan God has for America, the powerful nation of this age.
1) Those who lose hold of this are barely surviving or are living a completely crumbled life (Genesis 14, 19 meaning).
How hard is it really to live in a powerful nation of one age?
① It is a place where the best gather and live. It is so severe because people try to compete. It is difficult to barely make money and pay rent.
② It is a place where all nations of the world gather and live. The differences in race and culture create conflict and even crime.
③ Because all nations have gathered, the spiritual problems that come from that is the most serious problem. Because people serve their own idols they bring, it is a place where all demon spirits have gathered (Revelations 18:1-3). Depression, schizophrenia, hate crimes, and even wanton murders are rampant.
2) On the contrary, those who held onto God’s absolute covenant here lived a different life. It becomes a life that God uses.
We call them the remnants. God chose them and left them behind, leads them to victory, and will use them as witnesses.
① Even pain will become the greatest answer (Joseph in Genesis 45:5-8, Moses in Exodus 3:8-12)
② Even if they went as slaves, they conquered the land and lived victorious lives (Isaiah 60:21-22, Daniel and three friends, Esther).
③ They were used as the greatest evangelists who saved that land and all its people (Acts 27:23-25, Paul and the team of Romans 16 in Acts 28:30-31). Living in this land may be suffering before realizing and holding onto God’s absolute plan. Oppositely, if you realize and hold onto God’s absolute plan that has led me to live in this land, you will become the happiest person.
- What must we do the most? It is not something to merely do zealously. Make the vessel God desires.
1) It is a vessel of the gospel. The gospel must become my gospel.
① Christ has surely ended all problems (John 19:30). We have been freed (Romans 8:1-2). Fight a spiritual battle. You will have victory (1John 3:8). Do not worry about anything. Christ is the way and is with me (John 14:6). Continuously enjoy the three fundamental blessings Christ has resolved.
② Discover the specific answer to all problems in worship and the pulpit (Acts 2:42 is the fulfillment of the covenant of Ezekiel 36, 47). As long as the gospel is declared on this pulpit, it is a covenant to be comforted, a covenant to be victorious, and a covenant to be guided (1 Thessalonians 2:13). That is why people eventually become deceived by Satan, slowly grow weary, crumble, and die when they lose hold of the Sunday service and pulpit message.
③ Try to organize the word and make it my covenant and meditate (Psalms 1)
That word changes my thoughts inside me (imprint), pull out bitter roots (root), and one day my life changes (nature). That word heals me (Hebrews 4:12), and answers will come as much as the word is established within me (John 15:7).
2) It is a vessel of prayer. My prayer must surely be discovered.
① If we lose hold of prayer, we continuously fall into unbelief and the place for the Holy Spirit to work disappears (Mark 9:29).
② On the contrary, Christ works if we pray, and it says that we will do greater things than the Lord (John 14:12-14). Jesus did his ministry around Jerusalem and Galilee, but he will let us do works that save the powerful nation and the world.
③ Prayer is me going into God’s deep place (1 Corinthians 2:10).
It is enjoying the power and authority of the heavenly throne (Matthew 16:19, Revelations 8:3).
3) It is a vessel of evangelism. My evangelism must surely be discovered. God desires for me to live through evangelism, and desires to save people and the world (1 Corinthians 1:21).
① The place I am in is an evangelism field God has given me to save (Joshua 1:3-5, Isaiah 60:21).
The places Joshua’s feet stepped on was given to him. It says that remnants who went as slaves will conquer the land.
② Make an evangelism list individually and try to start praying. The Holy Spirit will work (Acts 16:13-24). Paul simply found a place to pray in the evangelism field and met Lydia, and it says that the “Lord opened her heart”.
③ Pray for a system in which evangelism will surely continue and actualize it. You could start by yourself by praying with the pulpit and prayer journal in your school, job, or business (single (solo) system). Important people will be attached when you meet the one person God has prepared and become coworkers and a team (absolute system).
Conclusion – The powerful nation, the end of the earth of that age, can either lead the whole world into suffering or save the whole world. We are the remnants and disciples who are living in that powerful nation of America. May you hold onto God's absolute plan and stand as witnesses.

Remnant Ministry that Saves Me and the Future (John 21: 15-18) 03/01/2020
WHO and even in the United States are worried that the coronavirus will become a pandemic disease spread all across the world. While it is right to pray for the countries that are facing difficulties and be prepared, extreme worry could bring more problems instead. An illness worse than physical illness is the illness of the heart and mind. It said these are works that will continue in the last days. If we heal the world with the gospel, hold onto the identity as disciples and evangelists who save people, and properly pray, then He will make us competent and allow us to win. We need to hold onto the covenant of Psalms 91:6-7 and Revelations 9:5 and receive spiritual strength.
Approaching the disciples who were discouraged and in despair, He comforted and healed their hearts and gave them the third mission. It was, “Feed my lamb.” The lamb signifies all church members who are fully dependent on the Lord’s help and specifically symbolizes the “young children’ and “posterity remnants.” It is not merely the point of our family’s future. They are God’s future, the church’s future, and the future of the age.
The rage towards the cult organization of Sincheonji (New Heaven and Earth) who spread the coronavirus at high speed in Korea, is about to explode. The words heresy and cult are completely different words. A heresy is an argument of doctrine within the church. The word heresy is used because they stray away from traditional doctrines and end badly. Jesus and the members of Mark’s Upper Room were considered as heresy in Judaism. The Protestant Church was heresy to the Catholic Church. Eventually, which one is traditional, and which one is biblical is revealed. However, cults are false groups that are disguised as Christianity from the beginning. The person who makes the organization is the god and savior. Because they have engrained that if they don’t follow the savior, they will be cursed, people leave everything behind and follow them. They do things that destroy everything in the church and society. Eventually, cult religions will be destroyed. Just like certain viruses eventually die down and then another virus emerges, similar cults rise again. This becomes clear when observing the main cult religion groups in Korea.
Why do these cults arise? Fundamentally, it is the works of the spirits of falsehood (Matthew 24:5, 1 John 4:6) and they have penetrated into the social background and church background of that age. There are too many church members without assurance in the church, and those who especially crumble due to daily conflicts and divisions are the elites, specialists, and posterity. The Sincheonji has infiltrated them. The mission the Lord has given at this important time schedule, “Feed my lamb,” is an important covenant we must really grab hold. The remnant ministry is the works of raising the Lord’s sheep. How will we feed, raise, care for them and help them prepare the future?
- There was a first question Jesus asked Peter. He asked, “Do you love me?”
It means that before we love and help others, we must first realize and hold onto the love of God.
1) In other words, it means to hold onto the gospel first.
① What is the gospel? It is that since it could not be done on my own, the Son of God came as Christ and became the answer to our life (Romans 1:16-17).
As he died on the cross and resurrected through his power, he solved the three fundamental curses of our life.
② What are they? Curses of sin (original, family, and personal sins of myself). Curse of Satan. Curse of an eternal hell.
As he freed us from these three curses (Romans 8:1-2), he made us into individuals who enjoy God’s blessing, children who enjoy a background of heaven, and as ones who will be victorious in the world with this mystery.
③ God who has freed us and has taken us as His children will never give up on us under any circumstances (John 13:1, Philippians 1:6).
That is why he approached Peter who had denied and cursed him and asked him this question. Hold onto this first and enjoy it.
2) There are three absolute covenants of God inside the gospel.
① God’s absolute plan is within that. He has chosen and called me so that he may use me who is lacking (1 Peter 2:9). How much will I be used? I will save people like me and furthermore, to the point where I will save the world and all nations (Isaiah 60:22).
② God’s absolute love is within that. He loved us who does not have the right to be loved, first (Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:10).
③ God’s absolute power is within that. It is not saying to do things with my own strength. It means that He will be with us. The 7 remnants and all those whom God used enjoyed this (“with”). Enjoy this even more in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). That is how God’s masterpiece that transcends my level comes about.
- Hold onto at least three reasons, raise weak church members and especially remnants (All-in).
1) This is God’s heart and desire. God has entrusted this work to us (heavenly mandate).
The Israelites who were walking in the wilderness were told to imprint the covenant because a time in which they will conquer Canaan will surely come.
① What kind of covenant is it? The future God has prepared (Deuteronomy 6:1-3), Unique God who will fulfill that work (Deuteronomy 6:4), me who is within that (Deuteronomy 6:5). We call holding onto this more specifically the CVDIP. It says to “Do this with your children and their children after them” (Deuteronomy 6:2).
② How will it be imprinted? Scars, addiction, and depression are problems of imprints. That is why we must continuously imprint the word. In the end, answers will come as much as we hold onto the word (John 15:7), healing comes as much as we hold onto the word (Hebrews 4:12), and works of the Holy Spirit will take place when we hold onto the word (1 Thessalonians 2:13). That is why organizing the word, having a forum with the word, and memorizing the word is important.
2) We have been called for the works of saving this posterity, remnants (calling).
Remnants are the “holy seed” that God has distinguished (Isaiah 6:13). It is God that allows the seed to grow and bear fruit, but those who need to scatter the seeds and water them is us (1 Corinthians 3:6-7).
3) In order to raise the remnants God has entrusted to us, there are works we must do (commission).
① We have been given talents individually. In other words, it is a “gift” or “job” (1 Corinthians 12: 4-11). Words of wisdom and knowledge (word ministry), works of healing illnesses and faith (healing ministry), or speaking in different kinds of tongues and interpreting (prayer background) have been given to some people. Even outside of that, mentoring and internships can be given with each person’s specialty.
② It says to use our gifts in accordance with our faith and grace (Romans 12:3-6). For those who teach by teaching, for those who serve by serving (supporting in the back), for those who comfort by comforting (resonating, encouraging, counseling), and for those who give by giving (financial support).
③ The best thing is to make time to be with the remnants (that is Immanuel and Oneness). This is the reason Jesus brought them to every field he went, ate with them, and actively worked (Mission Home, the key of ministry).
Conclusion – We are raising important platforms of remnants raising the church in 30 years, leading the world, and raising other remnants. I bless you that this may become our happiness, reward, and crown to receive before God (Philippians 4:1).

Disciple Who Saves Me and the World (Matthew 28:16-20) 02/23/2020
Although curses, calamities, and suffering will persist during the end times, God desires one thing. He gives us answers so that we may give answers to the world and heals us so that we may heal the world. This was last week’s message. God calls us as ones who will be used like this and says that we will be sent into the world. They are called evangelists and disciples. This is the covenant to hold onto this week. Like verse 16 in the passage, although we may be lacking and failing individuals like the 11 disciples, we simply need to hold onto this covenant of a disciple. He will send us to the world and use us as ones who will raise other disciples. The reason churches are continuously crumbling is that the church is filled with merely churchgoers (members). The church is where the Sincheonji (New Heaven and New Earth) Cult group who are being used in spreading the coronavirus in Korea is looking down the most. Lee Man Hee is preaching that he is the counselor and the one who will replace Jesus in the end days, and people are believing it. This may become the opportunity to weed out these poisonous mushrooms. I bless you that you may not merely be churchgoers, but stand as disciples who will save yourself, the church and the world. In the passage, Jesus talks about the three blessings a disciple should enjoy and share.
- Jesus came to the disciples and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (verse 18).
Who is a disciple? One who believes and enjoys Christ who has this authority of heaven and earth is a disciple.
“Christ who has all authority in heaven and on earth” is the gospel (Luke 2:10). Enjoy this gospel and solve everything with the gospel (problem, conflict, failure).
1) Christ who has the authority of heaven and earth came because there are surely problems that cannot be solved by anyone else.
① It is a problem kings, people in power, intellects, religious individuals cannot solve. It is a spiritual problem. It says this problem will cover the whole earth (Isaiah 60:1-2, John 14:30, Ephesians 6:12).
② The eyes to see all the problems of the world as spiritual problems need to open. If not, why would we need someone with the authority of heaven and earth?
It is the being who destroyed the first life, Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:1-6). He is continuously corrupting the world (Ephesians 2:2-3). On the contrary, even though people live kindly and diligently, he creates incomprehensible problems (“thief” of John 10:10). He is a being who actually brings many suffering, curses, and calamities into the world (Job 1:1-2:7). Even more, it also says that he is a being who brings affliction, worries, and fear without reason (1 Samuel 16:14-16). The king was afflicted. This is a form of depression, panic disorder, and schizophrenia. It may have started from that person’s growing process or environmental issues. In the end, it all progresses into a spiritual problem (Isaiah 61:1).
2) If I am within Christ who has the authority of heaven and earth, no problem can be a problem.
He said he finished it all on the cross (John 19:30). All problems should be solved with this conclusion. How did he finish it?
① He received all the curses I would have received for my sins and failures on the cross. This is the work he did as a high priest (Hebrews 6:20).
He freed us so that we may no longer be eternally cursed (Romans 8:1-2) and made us into beings who will enjoy the blessings of heaven (Ephesians 1:3-5).
② He became the way of our life and is with us forever. This is the work he did as he came as the eternal prophet (John 14:6).
Did you face a time of worry, loneliness, and suffering? It is so that you may experience how he is holding onto you. Joseph experienced this (Genesis 39), and David experienced this blessing and stood as disciples who saved the age (Psalms 23).
③ It does not matter even if the devil brings any kind of problems. We are those who will fight with His power and enjoy the victory.
This is the work He does as he becomes our king (1 Corinthians 15:25). A time in which they will be crushed underneath our feet will come (Romans 16:20).
3) Are you facing a time of problems, conflicts, failure, and suffering? You must make all of that into an opportunity.
Do not fall into despair because of that or try too hard to solve problems or live life thinking that “this will all pass as time passes.”
① It is a time in which my hidden scars and spiritual problems are revealed and be healed. That is why it says to pour out your hearts to him (Psalms 62:8).
② Break my old frame that is continuously making me fail and blocking God’s blessing and make it into an opportunity to make and renew a new frame.
Only at that time can “failure become the mother of success” like Edison once said.
③ You are being molded into a vessel that can understand, forgive and embrace all people (Luke 22:31-32).
- Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (verse 19).
It is a blessing that comes as much as I experience the gospel. Works of saving people and the world will take place. It is evangelism and missions. Those who live centered on evangelism and missions and solve all problems centered on evangelism and missions, they are the disciples.
1) God has already called us as evangelists and disciples to save this age. It says that “He called those he desired.”(Mk3:13)
We need to have faith here. We are people called by God (calling of salvation, calling as disciples, calling to heaven). It does not matter even if we were called amidst failure (Moses of Exodus 3, Paul of Acts 9). It does not matter if you were called late (Matthew 19:30). Those who will surely be saved in the field and disciples who will continue to be used for the evangelism movement are prepared.
2) Hold onto the covenant of world evangelization even in the small things we do. It becomes a blessing to be used for world evangelization.
Different power will take place if you hold onto this covenant even while cleaning and working in the kitchen in church. If not, scars form while working.
3) God will take responsibility if the remnant’s academics, church officer’s business, and everything are done while holding onto this covenant of world evangelization. Do not be bound if problems come but challenge even more. God will surely give evidence.
- It says to baptize everyone we meet and to teach everything the Lord has commanded (verses 19b-20).
Where is the place to baptize and help them to rise as those who will save the world? That is the church. That is why those who receive answers to save the church and devote themselves, and the people who solve everything centered on the church are the disciples.
1) The church is the body of Christ (Ephesians 5:23). Why did he allow the church?
It is a spiritual family to help our posterity to continuously receive strength and go into the world (importance of remnant ministry). It is also a training place to help all church members to go into the world and fight a spiritual battle in the name of Christ. It is also a healing center to heal if people get hurt or scarred in the world covered in darkness. It is a place that needs to play the role of a spiritual platform for all nations to gather and pray, receive strength and training to go into the 237 nations.
2) Paul said that he loved and devoted to the Lord’s church with a heart of filling up his flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions (Colossians 1:24).
Make the place I am in a church. The church and its building are a place of gathering. Family church is a place where my family will save the world. The specialized church is a place to find a person who will enjoy the gospel and evangelism movement with me in my workplace. The regional church is the place to gather to save my region.
Conclusion – Start with one person, me (sole system). Then discovering even one-person disciple will change the world (absolute system).
