Healing the Blessing of Spirituality (Genesis 41:32-40)                                       3/16/2025

The greatest blessing God has given to humanity is spirituality. If a saved believer properly heals and restores their spirituality, they will restore at least five blessings. Joseph, in the passage, serves as the representative model of these blessings.

First, regardless of our weaknesses, wounds, or circumstances, we can restore all the blessings God has prepared for our lives. Everyone has weaknesses, wounds, and difficult circumstances. It would be hard to find someone who suffered as much as Joseph. Most people fail at this point, falling into incompetence, depression, suicidal thoughts, or even severe mental and spiritual problems.

However, Joseph transformed all these into blessings. The secret was his spirituality. It was acknowledged by Potiphar, the prison warden, and even the king.

Second, from this point on, we can provide answers to people in all problems and events. In the passage, Joseph interpreted the dream of the troubled king, who was tormented because he could not find its meaning, and provided him with God’s answer (32). A true evangelist is someone who gives answers. They give answers through Christ and provide guidance to find God’s plan in every problem (1 Samuel 3:19).

Third, from this point on, the people who meet us will enjoy God’s blessings. Joseph went through much hardship and unjust suffering, but because of him, Potiphar’s entire household was blessed, the king was blessed, and even the entire nation of Egypt was blessed. This is the secret to saving the field and the age. It is spirituality (38).

Fourth, these people will transform their family and lineage into a family of blessings used by God.

Through the brothers Joseph saved, the twelve tribes of Israel were formed. His descendants also carried on this great history of blessings. (Deborah and Gideon, who became judges, and Joshua, who led Israel into Canaan, were all descendants of Joseph).

Fifth, these people will be established as summits who save powerful nations. Summits from all over the world gather in powerful nations. Many summits have been established under Satan’s influence (summit warfare). However, God desires to raise His summits who possess His spirituality.

  1. What is the Beginning of Spirituality?

1) It begins by finding the self that God created. Within God’s creation, there are at least three absolute blessings:

① God created us with His absolute plan (Genesis 1:26). The Triune God planned and created us.

② God implanted His absolute image (Genesis 1:27). The image of God means we were created to have God’s Spirit (Genesis 2:7).

Living with true humanity means communicating with God (spirituality) and living with His character (personality) and power.

③ God granted absolute blessing (Genesis 1:28). With His power, we bless the world, and we develop all things to fulfill His will, and reveal His glory (calling for cultural creation, expertise, creative ability).

2) The event where humanity lost these blessings was the incident of Genesis 3. God sent His Son, Christ, to save humanity and restore these three blessings.

① Those saved by God were chosen in Christ before creation to receive His salvation (Ephesians 1:3-5, Acts 13:48).

② Through the Son, we were redeemed, rescued from the dominion of darkness, and transferred into the kingdom of the Son (Colossians 1:13-14).

③ Through the Holy Spirit, Christ dwells with us and reveals the deep things of God (Colossians 2:2-3, 1 Corinthians 2:10-12). He allows us to understand, know, and enjoy all that has been given by grace. Experiencing this blessing is spirituality.

  1. What Does It Mean to Heal Spirituality?

The moment we properly understand the blessing of salvation, spirituality begins. But why do we fail to enjoy this blessing?

1) Satan continuously deceives us through 12 strategic methods (Ephesians 6:11).

① He drives us toward self-centeredness (Genesis 3:5), physical desires (Genesis 6:3), and world-centeredness (Genesis 11:5). This is why we must fight three spiritual battles. Our own thoughts, standards, and pride make us sit in God’s place at critical moments. If we prioritize physical and worldly things, there is no room for the Father’s love (1 John 2:15-17).

② Satan entraps us in the six destinies that enslave unbelievers. We unknowingly follow darkness (John 8:44). We have hidden idols (1 Corinthians 10:20, Colossians 3:5). We live with a burdened heart (Job 3:15, Acts 10:38). We are unable to escape from diseases (1 Corinthians 3:16). We fear judgment (Hebrews 9:27). We pass down curses to future generations (Exodus 20:4-5).

③ He entraps people in the spiritual snares of the world—shamanism (Acts 13), fortune telling (Acts 16), and false religions (Acts 19). Many politicians and business leaders are trapped in this, and even believers who go to church fall into these deceptions.

2) They have created false spiritual training methods (Matthew 12:44-45). Training through asceticism, legalistic repentance, or self-emptying meditation that cannot restore true spirituality.

  1. How Can We Be Healed with the Spirituality that God Desires?

1) We must hold onto what God has given us and set aside time for meditation. Incorrect imprints, roots, and nature have taken hold in our brains, souls, and lives, blocking true spirituality.

① Our brains must be imprinted with the covenant that guarantees our lives as saved believers (journey). The most important thing is our identity. Joseph was imprinted with this at 17 years old before entering the world (Genesis 37:2).

② Our souls must be rooted with the faith that is in the God of the throne (bartizan). God reveals works of transcending time and space. This faith allowed Joseph to stand firm in loneliness and adversity without fear or wavering.

③ We must develop a nature of deeply enjoying God in all problems and circumstances and saving all people (guidepost). Our ultimate goal, conclusion, and guidepost is to become witnesses who save this age, even to the extent of reaching Rome.

2) We must establish personal 1:1 time with God and focus on Him.

① The way to deepen our relationship with God is by increasing our personal 1:1 time with Him. Spend just 5-10 minutes in the morning focusing in prayer. Seek God’s guidance 24 hours throughout the day. Use the night for healing and restoration.

② Train in deep breathing to enhance concentration and restore the body.

3) We must transform all relationships into relationships of blessing. This is what the Holy Spirit desires and establishes (Ephesians 4:2-3).

① This is a blessing that follows when our relationship with God is restored. Pray for relationships with spiritual leaders, family, friends, and colleagues to be filled with God’s blessings. Live at peace with everyone and overcome evil with good (Romans 12:18-21). The Power to be able to forgive his brothers is the spirituality.

② If someone has something against you, seek reconciliation and wait patiently (Matthew 5:23-25, Ephesians 4:26-27).

Conclusion – Spirituality is a promise given to the saved people of God. May you stand as one who restores yourself, the church, and the world with this blessing.
