Eternal Answer of the 1st 2nd 3rd RUTC:

Answer of Eternity Enjoyed in the Sanctuary (Exodus 40:34-38)    3/10/2024

Last week, we   looked   at how Moses who was living as a failure for 40 years and the Israelites who lived as slaves for 400 years escaped from that and began enjoying God’s blessings to be used by God. We call this blessing, salvation. The moment you received salvation, you have been delivered from all fate, curses, sins that bring failure. Which is   the authority of Satan in the background of it all (Colossians 1:13-14). It goes beyond that. We are God’s children and we’ve become His people that will forever enjoy the heavenly blessings and glory (Ephesians 1:3-5). The conclusion of all those who are saved is that everything in their lives will become evidence to save others alike, and all nations, and live as witnesses standing before the Lord (Acts 1:8, 1Peter 2:9). But why can’t believers live this way?

What is the mystery by which we can realistically enjoy this answer and blessings? That is the Tabernacle-Centered Life. When the Israelites left Egypt and went into the wilderness, God told them to keep these Three Feasts and build a Tabernacle. As they did all things centered on the Tabernacle, God led their way perfectly. He filled all their needs, healed their diseases, and gave them the mystery to have victory in war. It says that they saw all the evidence in the scripture today.

What does the Tabernacle signify? This blessing of the Tabernacle is the conclusion of Exodus. It is the eternal blessing that we must enjoy on earth. In Exodus, this Tabernacle was expressed in 4 different terms. It was called “the sanctuary where the Lord dwells among us (Exodus 25:8).” It was also called the “Tent of Meeting,” to mean that, all God’s people go to meet God (Exodus 25:8). They called it “The Holy Tabernacle” to mean that it is a holy place, and they also called it the “The Tabernacle” to mean that as they kept moving, it was a “Temporary Dwelling.”

  1. The meaning and blessing of the Holy of Holies “Most Holy Place” (Exodus 25:10-22). This Holy of Holies was a place where the Highest Priest would go in once a year to give sacrifice for all people. The Priest would take in   the blood of a lamb and spread it on the Atonement Cover (Cherubim) of the Ark of the Covenant. That blood of the lamb is the blood of Christ.

1) That blood is the evidence of the Covenant, and by that blood we’ve become the people of the Eternal Covenant. We have been given eternal inheritance (Hebrews 9:11-15). Through that blood, we have been freed from eternal sin and curses (redemption), been given His life (born-again life), and have become God’s children that walks with Christ (our identity and authority). This is a blessing that will never ever be changed or taken away.

2) Inside the Ark of the Covenant, there were three things. The Ten Commandments which   is the love of Christ that was completed on the cross (Matthew 5:17). The Manna is the Christ that gave us Eternal Life (John 6:51). Aaron’s Budded Staff is the Victorious Christ that resurrected and crushed the authority of Satan (1Corinthians 15:25).

3) The Five Assurances that we know are the things that are warranted for those who are in Christ. Never lose hold of this and never be deceived.

Assurance of Salvation (1John 5:11-12). My life is the life that the eternal Christ accompanies. Therefore, even if we die today, we will see heaven.

Assurance of Answers to Prayer (John 16:24). As we live, we are to pray everything in the name of Jesus Christ and receive answers.

Assurance of Victory (1Corinthians 10:13). No matter what conflicts or suffering may come, enjoy victory in the name of Christ.

Assurance of Forgiveness (1John 1:9). We may fall into temptation again. Do not give up, repent, and begin anew.

Assurance of Guidance (Proverbs 3:5-6, Revelation 3:8). God will perfectly guide us, and He has placed open doors in front of us.

  1. The meaning and blessing of the Holy Place (Exodus 25:23-40).

1) This is the mystery by which Saved People of God in Christ have victory today. There was something that the Priest needed to do every day.

The Priest had to light the Altar of Incense that was at the center of the Tabernacle and burn it up to God (Today’s Prayer). This is the Blessing of the Throne that we enjoy when we hold onto the Covenant and pray (Revelation 8:3-4). This is the 3,9,3 prayer, the 7 Bartizan prayer. The prayers that we pray individually, and especially together with others in intercession have tremendous power (meaning of 5-Member Team prayers).

On the Table of Bread that is on the right side of the Tabernacle, the Priest must   replace the Bread every day (Today’s Word). Today’s Word that we listen to, read, and meditate on give us strength and comfort. It allows us to challenge for the future.

We must light the Seven Golden Candlesticks that are on the left side of the Tabernacle (Today’s Evangelism). God has called us the “Light of the World”, the children of Light (Matthew 5:14, Ephesians 5:8). We are to save the world with that light (Evangelism and Missions).

2) We must enjoy this blessing within ourselves and our fields (workplace, business, school, family).

This is when our spiritual state and the place we are become the sanctuary that God dwells (1Corinthians 3:16). No matter what problems, conflicts, and persecution Satan brings us, our spiritual state and in   our place, we will have victory and those things will become evidence. The war between the Amalekites in the wilderness was this (Exodus 17:8-13).

Later, our entire lives will become a Sanctuary that God blesses and uses (Ephesians 2:22). Life itself will be answers. Moses, who had no power and lived as a failure, met God in this Tabernacle and the Lord spoke to him face to face (Exodus 33:11).

  1. Lastly, it is the meaning and blessing of the Outer Court at the entrance of the Tabernacle (Exodus 27:9-19). God told them to raise 60 pillars and cover it with linen. There was something to do there. That is the form of a true church.

1) It is a place where people from all nations will come in to receive salvation and enjoy God’s blessings (Courtyard of the Gentiles). Why did Jesus lash out in Israel with a whip at the corrupted Church of Jerusalem? A church should be a place where all nations come to pray (Mark 11:17). In the church, there should be no discrimination of language, people, or culture. That is the blessing of Multi-ethnic Ministry. It is the form of the church that God is extremely pleased with. We are then able to see the Eternal Answer in advance (Revelation 7:9-10).

2) It is a place where people with severe diseases can come to receive the Priest’s blessings and become healed (Courtyard of Healing). The disease that was like a spiritual curse in the Old Testament was Leprosy. Those with Leprosy received healing through the Priest (Leviticus 14). This is the reason Jesus travelled around the world to proclaim the Gospel and healed all diseases and iniquities (Matthew 4:24). Saving and healing all nations from all spiritual problems in the name of Christ is “Missions” (Mark 16:17-18). This is the reason we go on Medical Mission Trips, as well as the reason we are trying to establish a Healing Mission Home and Healing Center at our church.

3) In that Courtyard, children must be able to come and be treated preciously. They must be trained as future servants (Courtyard of Children). This is the reason Jesus went up to the temple to worship holding his mother’s hand until he was 12 years old (Luke 2:42). This is why Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them” (Matthew 19:14, Mark 10:14, Luke 18:16). What Moses did well was raising Remnants in the Tabernacle (Exodus 24:5), and raising leaders like Joshua (Exodus 33:11).

Conclusion – Tabernacle is Christ, the blessing we must enjoy every day, and the blessing of Multi-Ethnics, Healing, and Remnants that we will enjoy at church.
