Living Sacrifice That Pleases God (Romans 12:1-2) 9/29/2024
Eternal Answer Of The 1st 2nd 3rd RUTC:
Living Sacrifice That Pleases God (Romans 12:1-2) 9/29/2024
We have returned from our 13th short-term missions to Fiji and Tonga within God’s absolute blessing and answers, as well as the support of all our congregation. It was the most difficult journey of all our mission trips, but we were able to enjoy the most blessings and answers. This mission trip allowed us to dream of the future for Oceania and the 14 Islands.
We held onto Romans 1-11 from our commissioning worship. We shared the Unique Gospel (chapter 1), Gospel of Grace (chapter 2), Gospel of complete love(chapter 5), Gospel of Eternal Life (chapter 6), Gospel of Absolute Deliverance (chapter 7-8). It was a short time, but we saw the power of that Gospel and its blessings and fruits. We supported the one disciple and church, prepared by God, that will continue this Gospel Movement (Representative Example – Disciples in Fiji who decided to receive training through RU, a Disciple of 13 years in Tonga was commissioned to Samoa, a School Principal for Remnant Disciple Ministry). We give all the Glory to God and we give endless thanks to God for using us and our One Mind Church.
If we truly realize and enjoy this Gospel, God will make our every footstep beautiful. The smallest things we do will become God’s Eternal Inheritance, Masterpiece, and Legacy, and from there, we will realize true happiness and thanksgiving.
There is something that believers who realize, enjoy, and share this Gospel must be consistent with. It is True Worship (living sacrifice that pleases God). Worship is the greatest privilege that saved believers can enjoy (Romans 9:4 “theirs is the Temple Worship”). It is the method by which we enjoy the blessing of this Gospel. The question is whether we are giving and enjoying true worship; worship that pleases God. For the Jews, worship became religious formalities and traditions that was devoid of life. The churches of today face the same thing. Worship is a formality, a burden, and devoid of our souls (John 4:24). We will talk about the examples of being trampled upon by the world and Satan during Wednesday Service. In the passage, “therefore” means “if you have truly realized what a blessing this Gospel we received is.” It says, “offer your bodies as a living sacrifice.” This is the “Spiritual Worship” that we must give. We are not just talking about worship that we give in the church building. We are talking about worship that we give through our lives. It is worship given by people who enjoy the blessing of the Holy Spirit. There is detailed explanation of this in verse 2. We will share the 3 contents of worship that the Bible emphasizes.
- Do not conform to this age.
1) “Conform” means to “follow.” Those who follow are Disciples. Do not follow the corrupted environment, culture, and flow of the world, but acknowledge God and follow God. What comes from this is the term “proskuneo,” that means “a kiss between our lips and God’s lips.”
2) What is it that we must acknowledge and give our lips to? It is the Gospel that we continuously talk about. We are to hold onto the Absolute Power, Absolute Love, Absolute Grace, Absolute Blessings of God that are revealed by the Gospel and give our lips to those things. God kissed us with his lips first. We are responding to that with a burning heart. We cannot give our lips to just anyone. When we give our lips to the world, it is considered Spiritual Adultery (Hosea 5:3-4, 1John 2:15).
3) When we hold onto God’s Absolute Power, Love, Grace, and Blessings, there are things that flee from us. Satan’s 12 snares and traps (self-centeredness, flesh-centeredness, success-centeredness, 6 destinies that bound lives, lives bound by wrong answers from Satan such as shamanism, fortune-telling, religion). Satan will continue to deceive us with his 12 snares. However, he cannot overcome us (Matthew 16:18). As you enjoy the Gospel and the things of God within you, fight with the authority of Christ (James 4:7). Everything will become evidence to save the world.
- Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
1) Only then, can we properly serve God. We must be healed and changed to be able to save others like us and the world. God’s method of saving the world is to save us to save the world and heal us to heal the world. Another term that refers to worship is “latreia,” which means to “serve God and devote.”
2) This is a blessing that takes place if we are filled with God’s things. We cannot change or renew ourselves. Enjoy being filled up by the things of God (Scheduled Prayer, Meditative Prayer, Worship Prayer, 24 Prayer).
3) That is why God gives us individual gifts (Rom.12:3-13). This is a gift of grace. This is given according to our portions and according to God’s plan for everyone by grace, so there is no need to compare. Prophesizing the Word, serving, teaching, comforting, saving, and hosting is all a gift. It is as important as being used for our skills (talents), and these people are the ones who will save the church. With that strength, we can even bless the enemies that persecute the church and overcome enemies with love (Rom.12:14-21). They were the Early Church.
- Discern God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will. The conclusion of God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will is evangelism and missions. It is saving people, all Gentiles (Multiethnic), and all nations (237 nations and 5000 tribes). The third term referring to worship is “leitourgia,” which means to “serve God’s people.”
1) Be subject to the governing authorities of all nations and become an example (chapter 13). Bless the governing authorities so that they do not perform evil bound by Satan and perform all duties of a citizen so that they are not in shame. If governing authorities are used by God, world evangelism will be fulfilled faster. That is why true Summits that save the Summits, Spiritual Summits, and Summits that serve and are acknowledged are important (Joseph, Obadiah).
2) Do not treat others with contempt or judgement (chapter 14). Do not condemn or judge those of weak faith but wait for them. God is the one who will make them stand (Rom.14:4). It says that whoever judges or treats others with contempt will stand before God’s judgment (Rom 14:10). The kingdom of God is saving all people with the power of the Holy Spirit, giving peace and joy (Rom.14:17).
3) Saving all Gentiles (Multiethnic) and all nations is fulfilling God’s will (chapter 15). It says to accept one another just as Christ accepted you (Rom.15:7). There are brothers and sisters scattered all over the world who we must evangelize to, give love to, bless, and accept (9-12). It was Paul’s great pride to have become God’s apostle for all nations (16).
Conclusion – Living sacrifice that pleases God is filling ourselves with God’s things – the Gospel of Christ – and receiving healing and answers to save ourselves, the church, and the world. May we give our lips to God, become healed as people of God, and may our lives become the Covenant Journey, Pilgrims’ Journey, and Evangelists’ Journey that fulfills God’s will – saving 237 nations and 5000 tribes.
