The Answer of Eternity and Sanctuary that Noah Enjoyed(Genesis 6:9-16)

The Eternal Answer of the 1st 2nd 3rd RUTC:

The Answer of Eternity and Sanctuary that Noah Enjoyed(Genesis 6:9-16)

The Answer of eternity and the blessing of the sanctuary mean the same thing and are interconnected.

Why are believers in difficulties? Why is it so hard to live in this world? Why are they often mocked and oppressed? It is the same reason the Israelites who were chosen first were captivated, enslaved, and colonized by the world.

It is because they lost hold of the blessings that God gave when they received salvation (identity, authority, and inheritance of a child of God) and the blessings of eternity. Many look towards the visible things, the physical things, the worldly things, and are seized by them. We think that those type of blessings are all there is. People don’t know that the world is covered by darkness (Isaiah 60:2), and that darkness controls those things (John 14:30, Ephesians 2:2-3, Ephesians 6:12).

God wants us to enjoy His blessings, spiritual blessings in our lives. Spiritual things transcend time and space, it is a power without limits, and unprecedented and never-repeated works will arise. It becomes the power of light that breaks down the power of darkness. Combined, we call that the blessing of eternity and blessing of the sanctuary. When we can understand, realize, and experience this spiritual blessing, we will have nothing to fear. We will be able to save the 237 nations, the posterity, and the future.

All we need is to find those individuals as our models and the models for our church. The first of them is Noah and the blessing of eternity and sanctuary that he enjoyed.

  1. There is something we must first hold onto in order to enjoy this blessing as our own.

1) Mystery of salvation. Our past, present, and future are all guaranteed (Blessing of  fundamentals).

Noah’s salvation was Gods calling and choice (Genesis 6:1-8, Romans 8:30). From Noah’s past, God decided to deliver him, chose him, and called him. Many people hold onto the painful memories and scars of the past. God knew even those things. To deliver us from a life stuck in destiny, God freed us within Christ (Romans 8:1-2, Colossians 1:13-14).

② Noah’s reality was an age full of corruption, curses, and darkness. The age we are living in now is the same. Even unbelievers are warning people about the extinction of mankind and the earth. Within that, God was with Noah. He allowed Noah to hold onto God’s righteousness and accompanied him (9). It says that Christ entered into the sanctuary and obtained eternal redemption (Hebrews 9:12), and gave us eternal inheritance (Hebrews 9:15).

③ The future that awaited Noah was destruction and judgment. We are also living in such an age (Matthew 24:3-31). We live without knowing that the day of destruction will come like the judgment of the flood (Matthew 24:37-39). God told Noah about the blessing of the ark and led him, his family, and his descendants to receive salvation.

2) Mystery of the gospel. He gave the grace for all to receive salvation (Blessing of the grace, Genesis 6:8, 1Corinthians 15:10, Acts 20:24).

① God allowed all who entered the ark to be saved. All that any sinner needs to do is to enter. All they need to do is to realize their transgressions and sins, and accept the Christ that took on those transgressions and sins (Revelation 3:20).

② If you enter the ark, it becomes complete salvation. You are now in Christ. Not even the flood can swallow you. No curses (original sin, Satan, hell) can swallow you. This is why God instructed Noah to use gopher wood and coat it with pitch.

③ The moment you enter the ark, you become someone that will enjoy God’s eternal blessings. After the ark, new works begin through Noah’s family. This is why we are called a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). When Christ returns, God will create the new heavens and new earth through us and those who went up to heaven before us.

3) Mystery of evangelism and missions(Blessing of true conquest). Noah was used as the evangelist of that age (2Peter 2:5).

① God will save us to save our families, fields, and the world (Acts 1:8). That is why when you are revived, your field becomes revived (upper room). God will make us, who are weak and lacking, and even are pain into a message that can save the world (meaning of Moses’ 40 years of wilderness).

② Now, people come into the ark that we put our devotions into making and gain life (bartizan, system). That is why the prayers and devotions that go into evangelizing is important (family, workplace, region).

③ God gave all the wisdom, power, and the finances to build that ark. They are Christ’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20). This is the life of an evangelism disciple (12 apostles of Matthew 10, 70 worker disciples of Luke 10, main figures of Rome evangelization of Romans 16).

  1. Ultimately, what was the answer that Noah enjoyed as he held onto this blessing?

1) Answer of eternity. Noah enjoyed the blessings of the eternal God.

① As he built the ark, in every moment and every step, Noah listened to God’s word and enjoyed spiritual blessings (John 6:63). That was revealed as unprecedented and never-repeated answers. That is why the kind of Word we listen to is important. These answers begin when we listen to the Word of the gospel (Romans 10:17), and the spiritual Word (John 6:68).

② Noah built the ark as he held onto that Word and prayed, and that became the masterpiece that saved the age. If we hold onto the spiritual Word and follow it, our pain and the small things we do can become such a masterpiece (Pilgrim’s Progress).

③ Later, that ark became a prophecy of the Christ who will come as our eternal savior. That was the eternal masterpiece that saved all ages. God also used Rahab, who was a prostitute, as well as Ruth, who has a painful past in marriage.

2) Answer of the sanctuary. They enjoyed the blessing where their life and the church that he served became the eternal sanctuary.

① The sanctuary is a place where God resides with us, as well as a place and a state of enjoying God deeply (God’s kingdom means the same). Continue to train yourself in taking the time to enjoy God deeply in your daily life (worship prayer, scheduled prayer, meditative prayer, 24 prayer). When important times or crises come, make it a time to enjoy God even more deeply (reason for one window on the ceiling of the ark).

② That is when we can surpass all things and enjoy answers that transcend all things. We can overcome even our individual weaknesses, powerlessness, and scars and they turn into answers. With what strength do you think Noah was able to build the ark? How will we save America and the 237 nations? We must enjoy this answer (Genesis 39:5, Acts 8:4-8, Acts 28:30-31).

③ We can enjoy this answer and be used for the work that pleases God. We will leave behind the eternal legacy. God took care of Noah’s health, finances, and future perfectly. He saved up and prepared for the future (21). The vessel to save your precious things and devote that to the work that God desires is the sanctuary.

Conclusion – It is a difficult age that we live in. All we need is to enjoy eternal answers (spirituality) and enjoy the answer of the sanctuary (vessel that God use)
