The Answer of Five Loaves and Two Fish (John 6:5-13) 6/25/2023

Answer 25 of the 1st 2nd 3rd RUTC:

The Answer of Five Loaves and Two Fish (John 6:5-13)              6/25/2023

The passage records the event where Jesus fed five thousand people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. These types of answers and blessings must be experienced within the lives of all believers (health, finances, all ministry). There are at least 3 reasons.

First, it is a difficult age. We faced this reality when we went through the pandemic. Until the day that the Lord returns, greater problems and suffering will continue. We have to believe that there are separate answers that people of God will receive.

Second, it is because of evangelism and mission. There are so many people in this world that we must help and save. At the missions field in Kakuma, we saw 70 nations and 70 tribes. This is the reason God blessed the nation of Korea that was desolate until the late 1960’s.

Third, it is because of the posterity and the future. If we cannot receive these answers in our church or in our personal lives, there is nothing we can do for the our children and the next generations. We will continue to increase scholarships for the upcoming generations. We are praying for the establishment of kindergarten, special education ministry, and Summit School. The answer 25 of five loaves and two fish must be experienced in these ministries.

When does these answers and blessings of five loaves and two fish arise? Hold onto one thing. Our hearts, thoughts, plans, visions, and lives must be accurately aligned with God. When you connect with God, he pours down everything (Matthew 6:33).

  1. When God’s heart is in our heart.

1) When Jesus performed this miracle, he took compassion on those people (Mark 8:2-3).

“I have compassion for these people.” “If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way.” When we take compassion on others, help, and give, that is called an act of kindness. Within that is a good heart. This heart was originally given to mankind when we were created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26). That is the life of someone who has received eternal life (Luke 10:25-37). That ultimately is the heart of God and the heart of Christ (John 3:16, Philippians 2:1-11). After Genesis 3, we have lost this heart completely, and people will continue to only love themselves in this world (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

2) With this heart, pray to become the model for the world and for this age.

It is something that must rightfully be in us as people who were saved by the grace of God within Christ, but we must still pray for it (2 Corinthians 5:14). It is embarrassing to know that unbelievers and other religions are able to do this, but we can’t. George Mueller, the father of orphanages, became the model of someone who enjoyed this answers and blessings throughout his entire life (George Mueller’s prayer).

  1. When the Word of God is in our heart.

The good deeds that unbelievers and religions talk about all come from themselves. It may become one’s self-righteousness, and eventually they will crumble. That is what Satan does. That is why he is called a thief (John 10:10). Despite living a kind life, he makes them perish. We must experience the things that comes from God. The start and the method to do that is the Word of God.

1) God created the world with His Word (John 1:1), and even now, he recreates the lives of people with His Word (Hebrews 4:12).

Even fear, worries, depression, addiction, and even physical illnesses, when we hold onto the Word, the works of recreation will arise.

You begin to have faith in God, and the Holy Spirit works through that. This is healing the long-imbedded imprints.

It is not just the Word. It is the Word that leads you to hold onto Christ (Romans 10:17). It is the Word of God that tells us how Christ came as the Son of God, was anointed with oil, and solved the three fundamental problems of life (original sin, Satan, eternal curse) with the three authorities (Priest, Prophet, and King). The Word allows us to continually experience and enjoy this mystery.

2) This is what Jesus emphasized when people gathered when they heard of this miracle of five loaves and two fish.

“Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you” (27). He said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

Christ emphasized that when you know Christ, experience him, and enjoy him, you will never lack anything. This is what he truly wanted to show when he performed the miracle of five loaves and two fish. We, who believe in Christ and are in Him, have everything. We are those who have Christ (2 Corinthians 4:7-9, 6:9-11).

3) This Christ is governing over us even now, and he fulfills the kingdom of God within us.

This is why we must hold onto the Word daily and begin our days (the key to 3 todays is the Word). We are to receive strength from the Word, gain courage, find things to renew, and discover God’s plan to be guided. Satan works to destroy the believers by blocking them from listening to the Word and holding onto the Word (Genesis 3:3-4).

That is the only way that our soul will come alive and everything else will be restored (John 6:63). Are you facing difficulties and crises? We can hold onto the Word and experience answer 25 and miracles (Psalm 103:19-21, 107:20, 1 Thessalonians 2:13). True believers and disciples are who do not follow the voices of people or the world, but the Word of Christ (66-67).

  1. When God’s conclusion is in our heart.

What is God’s conclusion? It is saving, healing, and blessing me to save the world. This is missions and evangelism, and all of God’s conclusive blessings and answers are within that.

1) Although suffering, disasters, and persecution may come in the end times, the Bible says that the end will come when the gospel is proclaimed to the ends of the earth (Matthew 24:14). ssThose who preach this gospel must make it so that everything they do becomes the miracle of the five loaves of bread and two fish. That is how we can save our region, the 237, the 5,000 people groups, the posterity, and the future. I saw how God’s miracles are continuously taking place in Kakuma, a refugee settlement, because of the devotion of a couple who are in their 70s and 80s.

2) When we hold onto the correct gospel of Christ and go all in for the correct evangelism and missions, God will go all in for us. This is the reason God blessed Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3). This is the reason David was wealthy and precious even as he grew old (Psalm 57:9-11). This is the reason God used the Mark’s Upper Room that had nothing, and the Antioch church (Acts 11:19-21).

Conclusion – Why is this world filled with suffering, curses, and darkness? Why are churches, that are never supposed to fall, crumbling down? It is because they have lost hold of Christ, who is the answer to all life’s problems (Matthew 16:16-18), as well as evangelism and missions, which was Christ’s last covenant and command. When these two things are restored, God will restore everything even if the world is covered in darkness (Isaiah 60:1-5). I believe that the answer 25 of five loaves and two fish will continue in our church and in the lives of all our congregation who hold onto only Christ and have aligned their direction towards evangelism and missions.
