The Power of Light that a Watchman Must Experience (Isaiah 60:1-7) 8/20/2023
Last week, we shared the Word about the Bartizan (system) for the three types of spiritual warfare. At the Remnant Summit Camp that was held the past week, we shared the Word about how they will establish those three bartizans (Gospel bartizan, Prayer bartizan, and Evangelism bartizan).
From that bartizan, the light that overcomes darkness must be shone, and we call those who will shine that light the watchmen. God called all saved people of God the watchmen of the end times. That is why we are told to be alert (1 Peter 5:8), and in those times, God will send his Watchmen and will work without rest (Isaiah 62:6-7). They will become the witnesses, leaders, and commanders to save 237 nations (Isaiah 55:4-5).
As it says in verse 2, even if the darkness covers the earth, as long as these watchmen exist, there is hope (Remnant Age). That is why in the end times, the remnants are God’s method, conclusion, and a game changer. No matter how much the darkness works in our fields, church, and children to bring despair and crises, as long as we have these watchmen, they will not crumble. It goes beyond that. We will receive evidence of even greater answers and blessings of God.
- At least four answers and blessings will come (verse 3-7).
1) Nations and Kings will come to your light (verse 3). Nations are the 237 nations, and Kings are the summits that are leading the world. We will become the ones who save them. When Israel crumbled, temples burned down, and they were taken as captives, individuals like Daniel and his three friends and Esther arose.
2) All will assemble and come, sons and daughters will return (verse 4). It means that works of saving lives will continue to arise. There was great persecution towards Marks Upper Room, but 3000 disciples and multiethnic disciples from 15 nations arose. They went forth to establish the Antioch church and carry out world missions.
3) Then you will be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy (verse 5). Why? The wealth on the seas and riches of the nations will come. This is the financial restoration for world evangelization. Pray and challenge toward at least three financial restorations (Finances for missions that saves 237 nations, remnant finances to save the posterity, economy of light that will bring back what we have lost to darkness).
4) When we enjoy these answers and blessings, works of saving the 3 Ages will arise (verse 6). “Herds of camels will cover your land” (blessings to save the posterity), “All from Sheba will come bearing gold and incense” (blessings to save the 237 field), “I will adorn my glorious temple” (blessings to save the church).
- Now, arise and shine the light (verse 1).
How will we shine this light? Before we talk about the method, we must first stand as the one to enjoy that light. Whatever it is, only as much as you cherish its value and enjoy it can you speak of it, protect it, and relay it. Enjoy at least three types of light that God has already given (“Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you”).
1) Light of life. It is the light that saves all lives.
① Unbelievers, and even animals and plants cannot live without this light. When plants have soil, water, and light, they grow and bear fruit. If people don’t receive enough light, they suffer physically and die (vitamin D, serotonin, energy deficiency). This light did not just coincidently appear. God created it, and he allowed this light to all creation.
② God also gave us spiritual light of life that saves souls to us humans who are spiritual beings. The first lives Adam and Eve were deceived and committed sin. They were then separated from God and their spiritual lives died. They became lives that follow the spirit of darkness and lies (Ephesians 2:1-3). That is why mankind’s corruption and suffering of the world are endless. The son of God came as the light. He is Christ (John 1:4). No darkness, destiny of curse, or authority of hell can make us fail. We became the ones to overcome this with the authority and power of light. We must enjoy this.
2) Light of healing. It is the light that restores spiritual problems, mental problems, physical problems, and financial problems.
① The actual power of light is tremendous. Light can discover diseases in hidden places, destroy cancerous cells, and even cut through hard surfaces.
② The spiritual light, the light that Christ gives heals all diseases tha the darkness brings. Ultimately, darkness is what brings diseases to life. The force of that darkness (Ephesians 6:12 “ruler of present darkness”) is the force of Satan. If our hearts are dark, everything will be difficult (frustration, stress, depression, panic disorders). Our hearts are affected by many reasons including environment, reality, interpersonal relationships, and scars. However, there is an entity that instigates all those things.
③ When we hold onto Christ who came as the light, and hold onto the Word that he gives and pray, that entity will crumble and we will receive healing. To those who truly believe this, God gives evidence of healing, and with that power they can heal and save the world (Mark 16:17-18). When we face hardships, he will send his Word and deliver us from destruction (Psalm 107:20). When we hold onto the Word, we receive healing. His Word is the lamp to our feet, the light to our path (Psalm 119:105). When we meditate, whatever we do will prosper (Psalm 1:2-3).
3) Light of creation. In other words, it is the light of recreation.
① When we hold onto this light of Christ and enjoy it, even small thing will be a masterpiece and the glory of God will be revealed. Remnant Joseph was able to enjoy that blessing, and so did Moses and David (2 Samuel 22:29). Do not be deceived looking at your situation, reality, other people, or yourself full of scars. Look upon God of the throne who shines light into your life.
② The fruit of the light will bear within you as well (Ephesians 5:9). Recreation will first take place within you. Fruits of kindness, righteousness, and truthfulness will bear, and those things will become evidence.
③ When you are enjoying this light, people facing hardships will come to you and they will come alive. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned (Isaiah 9:2). He will use us as an ambassador of Christ to do God’s work (2 Corinthians 5:20) and as a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). Those who know the forces of darkness and forces of light can save anyone (evangelism). They will be a light to the Gentiles to the ends of the earth (missions).
Conclusion – The moment we accepted Christ and received salvation we became the ones to possess this light (children of light). With this light, you can have victory against the darkness and save the people, field, and posterity that are bound in darkness. May you stand as the watchman that enjoys this power of light.
